Beautiful hotel, clean, spacious, chill atmosphere, beautiful art, valet was great, it was an incredible stay!

I love the Hotel Ella. Its history along with modern amenities is awesome! The room is clean and the bathroom is spotless. They hav an onsite restaurant and cute bar. The only negatuve is you are requred to pay $45 dollars per night for valet parking. However, the valet is always closed when I get to the hotel. I work nights and get back to hotel at midnight so I park in the small parking area at the hotel or across a very busy street. I think the valet parking should be optional.

It’s an old hotel that needs updating. The service is poor. The room had a musky smell.

This hotel is incredibly overpriced. There’s nothing in de room like tea maker or coffee machine, the view is a wooden fence or a brick wall right next to your window. And there’s a lot of hidden additional costs… You are forced to use valet parking (the valet guys are hunting for your car keys),you need to pay an additional amount “amenities costs” even when you were not been told or haven’t used them. The breakfast service isn’t constant. First day very good by a young lady but the next day it looked like the man just came from the club to the breakfast. Literally everything went wrong. Twice asking how I wanted my eggs. Than still have the wrong eggs. They were cold, they must have been in the kitchen voor long time. Than one of us finished the breakfast while the other one didn’t receive it yet. Tip for the hotel: Become less arrogant, facilitate your clients better, give them more value for the price they pay and come with a price without these dodgy additional costs. You are misleading the people.

This place has almost zero service for customers. We arrived after a concert at 9:30 pm Sunday night...No food or room service....Potato chips and power bars. Not unlike other area hotels in Austin, customer service is almost nil

They need to sort out the bar and the kitchen. Food not great and service very patchy. Like it's part time. People very helpful but a bit overwhelmed. Coffee sub par.

I had always wanted to stay at this hotel and the historic home of the hotel is wonderful. The staff could not have been more accommodating including the valet. The food was wonderful. The room’s furniture was worn out but I u defat and they are planning a major rebuild of the hotel and keeping the historic home for the restaurant thankfully. The bed was very comfortable.

Went up for ACL festival. We loved the old world charm of the property itself. The spacious balcony was a bonus. The room was large and comfortable for us and our two dogs. We will be staying there again.

Pretty on the exterior but there are no bellmen, lobby is underwhelming, rooms are nothing special. No desk no seating terrible wifi that is nonexistent at times. Restaurant service was great but decor is surprisingly scarce and minimal. Noisy streets that woke us up at night. Was expecting to be blown away by this hotel and was unoderwhelmsd and disappointed
