The Junior Suite needs a large improvement. It very much feels like an after thought to the rest of the apartment complex. Issues start with arrival, where one is required to phone a number stuck on the mailbox to determine how get your keys. This is tricky to do, as all of Bad Schandau has poor phone signal and hence it is hard to conect/hear what the instructions are to get the keys (and it took us a few calls to get through) - a landline phone at the door would help massively here to call the owner. The room itself is a maisonette, situated over two floors with a very narrow, plastic spiral staircase. Thankfully, both of us could get up the stairs, but if you are tall, broad or not steady on your feet, you may struggle getting up to the bedroom. Speaking of which, it was clear that the bedroom had not been dusted for a long time, with a number of spiders on the ceiling and "dust bunnies" on the floor. The bathroom, whilst new and modern, has also not been thought out, as it is not possible to close the shower door and the bathroom door at the same time (or open the shower door if the bathroom door is closed). Overall, this room could be nice - it does has nice furnishings, with a coffee machine (though you need to bring your own coffee) - but it very much feels like less attention has been given to this room than the rest of the building. I would not book it again in its current state.

Easy collection of keys. Straightforward instructions at the end of a phone number you dial on arrival. Name of your room is on the keys. The entrance is secure. The entrance i on this 2nd floor apartments well kept. The apartment was stocked with all conveniences. The modern Kitchen had little extras like pepper and oil to cook. The bedroom was simple but chic. Bed very comfortable The bathroom had a large modern shower area. There were two terraces on this second floor apartment looking over to the Kurpark and the Kirnitzschtalbahn stop.

A super place to stay -really well situated for the town, the river Elbe and walks into the Saxon hill country and national park. Clean and well-equipped. Close by is the national park tram stop. The apartment was just right for two.

We had a small one-bedroomed apartment in the building next to the one the website. This was very well appointed and had a nice little balcony to the front. Great for two people, although I'd have liked a small sofa/couch to sit on rather than the chairs.

Die Ausstattung der Küche entsprach dem minimalen Anforderungen. Für unser Apartment musste man gut zu fuß sein, was die Treppen anging. Die Einrichtung des Apartments war interessant.

Ich wollte im Apartmenthaus Saxonie buchen. Als ich unter der Handynummer Herrn Kleber anrief und ich nach einem Apartment fragte, fragte er mich genervt wo ich den überhaupt hin will nach Meißen, Dresden, Bad Schandau und andere Ort ... Da auf der Homepage nur Bad Schandau steht, gehe ich auch davon aus das ich in Bad Schandau anrufe und dort buchen will. Nachdem ich dann auch etwas bestimmter wurde, sagte mir der Herr das gar nichts mehr frei wäre und wie ich denn da drauf komme (bei Booking war aber ein Appartement frei und dazu hatte ich eigentlich eine Frage). Er ließ mich noch nicht mal ausreden bzw. erklären. Über die Anlage / Appartements kann ich nichts sagen, da ja keine Buchung zu stande kam.

In dieser ''Suite'' von ca. 20qm kann man legal nicht einmal Schweine halten ohne mit dem Tierschutz konfrontiert zu werden. Der Aufenthaltsraum besteht aus einer nicht nutzbaren Kommode, einem runden Tisch von ca. 60cm Durchmesser mit zwei Stühlen. Die Küche besteht aus einer Anrichte mit zusammengewürfelten Utensilien und einer Plastikschüssel für den Abwasch. Den kann man allerdings nur in der Dusche machen!. Von der Toilette/Dusche führt eine Glastür (an der auch die Handrücher hängen) in eine ungepflegte Terrasse mit 2 Stühlen + Tisch. Nicht nutzbar! Eine sehr enge PlastikSpindeltreppe führt ins ''Schlafgemach'' mit maximaler Stehhöhe von 1,8m und einem Stahlrohrbett welches bei jeder Bewegung lauthals aufschreit!. An Schlaf ist da nicht zu denken. Fenster sind übrigens Mangelware, aber dafür ist die Suite feucht und muffig. Schlechteste Erfahrung in meinem Reiseleben, welches mich auch nach Indien und Nepal geführt hat!
