Cavala is in Baga beach area. We had one of the best Goan experiences while at this place. Lots of greenery and well maintained, spacious rooms. However, absence of a table and proper chairs was a great impediment as it was a work trip for us. Otherwise too, guests do deserve a decent table and chair. Breakfast is fixed- and you cannot take a second helping. But good enough for the price. One can also take a room minus the breakfast. Location is excellent with ***y restaurants, shopping stores, groceries, etc within minutes of walking distance. Beach is barely 5 minutes walk. STAFF was courteous and helpful. Team Cavala ensured that check-in, check out and room service / housekeeping was unto the mark. Special gratitude to Madam Shabana, Monterio ji, Avinash Kosarkar (at the reception office who is also a national level athlete), John (reception office), Mark, Raymond, Amit (restaurant), and others who made our stay comfortable. The taxi recommendation from Cavala - of Mr Vidhadhar ji - is another hugely recommended one from us too. This gentle***, besides having excellent driving skills is an encyclopaedia. He regaled us with ***y stories related to the rich history of Goa, especially Baga Beach area. An institution he is! Strongly recommended

Beautiful place. Rooms are large and airy and the entire look of the hotel and the rooms is very Goan. When you stay in a regular hotel you could be staying anywhere. At Cavalas you feel like you are in Goa. Very hospitable, courteous, attentive and helpful staff. All in all a wonderful experience.

It's a calm and peaceful oasis in a busy area like Baga. It's true to its Goan vibe that it portrays through its interiors and architecture. The breakfast though limited was of good quality and nicely presented. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is one of the biggest we have seen in recent times. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant stay

We stayed across the road at Banana Republic where the pool was over new years and it was lush. We spent a lot of time lounging by the pool which was just perfect. Great location to Baga Beach. Staff were helpful and friendly and we got a welcome drink on arrival. Rooms were spacious with a good shower and comfortable bed. Would stay here again!

Cavala is an oasis in this part of Goa, in particular, Baga beach area. We had one of the best Goan experiences while at this place and made lovely memories too! This was a work trip too so work-wise too, whether it was internet or quiet space - all was super great to be productive and be able to do what we do! Location is excellent - range of restaurants, shopping stores, groceries, etc all are within seconds or minutes of walking distance. Beach is barely 5 minutes walk. "The most precious jewels are not made of stone" but are hu*** beings often! STAFF - The Team Cavala - ensures we get the best of memorable experience, be it during check-in, or restaurant or pool or room service or elsewhere. Stellar support - always 24x7! A *** is an encyclopaedia - and if the *** is truly Goan, then welcome to a whole new level of experience - Mr Vidhadhar - excellent driving competencies but also a rich history of Goa especially Baga Beach area breathes in him. Stunning old well preserved building. Staff outstanding and polite. ***agements efficiency excellent. Owners charming & hospitable. Food delicious. Live bands entertaining, great music that will get you on the dance floor. Nostalgic Bar. Rooms meticulously cleaned. Location perfect, close to beaches restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended staying or go for the live entertainment. I have vacationed at ***y hotels around the world I highly recommend Cavala. Visited on a Sunday told food only had 4 options for mains no starters or puddings . Made feel like we was required to leave straight after eating meal , was very shocked and upset at pricing of 3 people eating as one didn’t eat , so left would not return after after several visits in previous years ,WHst a change a few years has , very upset

Cavala must be your next stop “when in Goa” Cavala exuberates class with simplicity. An Old Portuguese house converted into a hotel with every corner so tastefully and meticulously done and utmost priority given to cleanliness and hygiene. Their very hospitable staff will go that extra mile to make you feel at home. Cavala is where everyone goes on a Friday night. The setting is old world charm. The live music by Tidal Wave makes everyone groove. This is a great place to shake a leg while enjoying your drinks. The only issue is that the food menu is limited so either have dinner and go here or be prepared to choose from the short menu. Shabnum helped us with table booking, Zubair took care of food and drinks ordering. Overall, do Cavala on Fridays for a good time.
