Great little holiday park just outside amberley for a stop over between Nelson and Christchurch , right on the beach , town 5 minutes away and all the amenities you would require , will defoncome back and stay again in the future , caravan we stayed was great and a nice alternative to a hotel room

Lovely place to stay we were caravanning along side friends we were able to take our dog which was very handy! Friendly owners and people in shop! Nice to be able to get hot food but prefer fresh fish instead of out of a box as the lady told me!I did get fresh cod on last day and it was nice. Would definitely stay again, nice walks around the camp.

Charging $2 to use the showers makes the place seem undeservedly chinzy and archaic. We stayed at a lot of holiday parks and similar accommodation over the last 2.5 months and none of them had pay showers, so this place stands out, and not in a good way. I can't find any reference to paid showers on the property details of the major booking sites that I used for planning, and if it had I would have kept looking. If they insist on keeping to this policy re showers they should make it prominent on their listing on all the booking sites they are on, and let the consumers decide whether it matters to them before booking. Otherwise, the place is clean and organized, so I think they do themselves a disservice to insist on continuing to charge for showers. As it is now I wouldn't stay here again due to the shower issue, or recommend it to anyone else, and going by the reviews there are probably others who would look elsewhere before coming back too.

Very friendly camp site. Kitchen had lots of gear including pots pans, air fryer etc. Very clean amenities $2 for hot showers.Good beach access and we had our 2 dogs which was great. Fish and chips from the van were yum. Great 4 days close to Christchurch but far enough away👍🏼

We loved our stay here as we drove down the country, the bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was great to be able to take a beach walk from the campground. Check in and out were made super easy. We definitely recommend a get away here.

A great Holiday Park with a well equipped communal kitchen, ample showers & toilets and a pool for the little ones. Friendly staff an awesome place to stay. Amberley only 8mins away should you need groceries etc. I'd definitely recommend this value for money home away from home 😊

This was our second stay in our campervan and we were here for 2 nights. Facilities are older but very clean. The powered camping sites are large with room for a campervan plus ample space to put out the awning and use table and chairs. It is right on the coast with walks through trees to the beach. People were swimming. There is a large area for tents and unpowered vehicles. It is close to playgrounds and paddling pool for children. Although we were there in school holidays we found it to be a quiet campground

Nice place, our little hut had a bit of stench in it plus it was next to the toilet and the kitchen. Overall it was worth the money we paid.

This holiday park offers excellent value for money. It's not flashy, but the basics are there and everything is good quality. The management and cleaning staff were nice and helpful.
