アルタ ビスタ モーテル(Alta Vista Motel)

My partner and I stayed here last minute and should have slept in the truck. We are carpenters and know building code and this place was a serious HEALTH HAZARD DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Tons of black mold in the bathroom and the water seemed unsafe to drink. Brushed our teeth with water bottles this morning as the pipes smelt like the were rotting. Water damage on the ceiling and fully exposed outlet boxes and much more. They will not give you a refund for the condition of the room. Honestly not sure how this place passed their inspection & is still operating. STAY AWAY.

Its a motel in northern ontario on the trans canada. Bed was comfy and i liked the roku tv. Everything else is outdated like many have said and upgrades are badly needed. Curtains didnt close all the way in my room and the walls are paper thin. Its alright for an overnight place to rest if you are ok with motel environment.

Property was tidy and clean, but requires major overhaul, bathroom in a terable condition looks about 50 years old

The rooms were dated but clean. Some touch ups would be nice to make it more esthetically pleasing. The mattresses on the bed were very comfortable, best sleep ive had in a long time. I would stay here again.

This motel is quite old and a little rundown but it was also clean and the beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

It's not the Ritz Carlton. But it doesn't profess to be. Decent place to stay, staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would stay at the Alta Vista again if visiting McKerrow.

Just horrible. People running place are extremely ignorant. No compassion for anyone. Can't ask a question. I hate writing reviews unless its a positive experience but this is my worst stay using ******* by far.

The staff were very friendly however the premises need drastic update. The musty smell needs to be addressed. The a/c was not working.

Can’t be helped but water is distasteful. I had my own but travellers should be told at sign in directly not have a bad experience ( tried to brush my teeth and it was an awful taste and aftertaste.
