ザ ゼン ヴィラス(The Zen Villas)

Our recent stay at Zen Villas in Sanur through *********** was far from pleasant and did not meet our expectations in any way. The villa, particularly Villa C where we stayed, was outdated and had serious hygiene issues, with an abundance of cockroaches present in both the bedroom and the living room. These unhygienic conditions completely disrupted our relaxation experience. Despite repeated reports to the reception about the presence of cockroaches and requests for adequate solutions, we did not receive appropriate help or support. The lack of action and the inadequate response from the staff contributed to our deep disappointment and feeling of neglect as guests. The most disheartening aspect was the lack of support from the reception, simply redirecting us to *********** without offering any form of appropriate solution themselves. We not only felt uncomfortable but also excluded and unwelcome as guests. Despite our desire to leave earlier due to the unacceptable conditions, we were informed that cancellation wouldn't result in any monetary refund. This only intensified our frustration and disappointment regarding the lack of customer orientation and accommodation from Zen Villas. In light of these unpleasant experiences, it's incomprehensible that Zen Villas maintain a high score. We hope our complaint is taken seriously, and appropriate measures are implemented to prevent such inconveniences for other guests in the future.

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 days in our Tranquility villa. We had a lovely pool and jacuzzi set in beautiful grounds. Inside, the villa was spacious and had everything we needed. The beach and main road in Sanur, with lots of bars and restaurants, are close by. All the staff, from management, reception, security and those who looked after us by making our breakfast and tidying the villa were all lovely, engaging people and genuinely couldn't do enough for us. A fantastic team. Thank you all so much, we hope to return one day.

We stayed at The Zen Villas for 3 nights in august and had a great time. The location was excellent - it was about a 5-10 minute walk to the main road of Sanur (which also pops you out near a big supermarket). The Villa we stayed in was actually a 2 bedroom Villa but if you only need a 1 bedroom, you can request this and the price is a bit cheaper and they lock the second bedroom off. The kitchen is fully equipped and breakfast is included and made every day. The Villa was able to provide a portacot and high chair for our baby which was great. The grounds are lovely - all super green and lush. The staff were very nice as well. The pool wasn’t huge but a decent size for the 3 of us and a great temperature. Thanks for having us - we hope to be back soon.

This is a beautiful villa with great customer service. The villa is very clean and spacious with 3 bedrooms (2 queen and 1 single) lovely dinning areas and cooking facilities and we have breakfast included. There is also a good sized fridge. The staff are all very friendly and happy to assist with your requests Great place to stay You can here kids playing in the pool but would be great for families to stay with plenty of space for them to run around and have your own private area.

We have just spent 3 nights here (not long enough). Omg what a beautiful oasis. Peaceful, clean spacious (villa O/Harmony) . The location was perfect with a short walk to eateries, shopping (6 mins) and the beach (9 mins). We always felt safe walking in the dark to see the sunrise or back to the villas from dinner. In fact the laneways added to the charm of the place. Thank you staff Adi for your patience and help with me ordering takeaways and Shanti for getting our laundry back on time. Both for being so welcoming and kind. We loved Zen Villas and Sanur and can’t wait to go back.

Just got back from 2 weeks at zen villas, we had the 3 bedroom villa everything about this villa complex is fantastic, staff are lovely and will help you book excusions or give advice of where to go. They come cook your breakfast every day, clean pool and villa and regularly spray to kill mosquitos. Villa is with easy reach of restaurants and beach and if you are needing a supermarket it is right next to 101 oasis hotel which is 5 min walk away. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We booked the Tranquil villa and it was superb! The design / interior layout was modern and the room amenities catered for all our needs. The two bedroom villa (with a bathroom each), separate lounge and dining provided the privacy we were seeking. The inclusive breakfast options, although not extensive, were prepared for you every morning in your villa, and they were very tasty, fresh and a perfect start to the day. The service and staff were friendly, and attentive. It was also only a short 5-10 min safe walk to the main shopping street and restaurants. Lastly, there were multiple in villa dining options from local cafes / restaurants, and we highly recommend the in villa SPA treatment.

Spent and restful, relaxing time with The Zen Villas. My Luxury One-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool was exactly what I needed. The staff were amazing, caring, and highly professional. Breakfast was cooked to perfection by the wonderful staff who come to your Villa and cook and then wash up after. WOW. Thank you. The Villa was just wonderful. Large open areas, outdoor shower etc. Large bedroom with turn-down service as well. Fantastic addition. Large open living area and kitchen for you to use. Living room doors open up the space completely straight out into a beautiful garden with sun chairs and umbrellas. The large swimming pool was clean and refreshing. A wonderful experience and I will return again. If you want to find that perfect mix of true luxury and Balinese smiles and care, then this is truly the place to experience it. Highly Recommended.

Repeat visitor, so always happy to stay at this property. Friendly, good quality accommodation with a safe and laid back atmosphere. Great for families. Much like the whole of Bali since the covid shutdown, the accomodation could do with some renovations, which looks to be happening. Getting to main Sanur shops etc is a bit tricky, so strap your shoes on or get a blue bird taxi. Happily stay here again though.
