オリエント ホテル(Orient Hotel)

We stayed two nights at the Orient Hotel. It is a very lovely hotel. The staff is very friendly. The food is very good. We did a guided tour through the Horton Plains National Park with a gut called Pulendran. He works at the Hotel as well. Highly recommended. Well experienced guy.

We really enjoyed our three days at the Hotel Orient. Everything was great, from the welcome, the room, the varied and very good cuisine, etc. to the always friendly and courteous staff. We would like to highlight the excursion to Horton Plains National Park. Accompanied by Hote Guide Tilak's expert and professional guidance, we experienced interesting and exciting moments. Thank you very much for that!

Thank you Pulendran for all your explications and informations about Sri Lanka, tea plantation, nature, etc, during this 3 days with you. It was very interesting. The best guide I have had since the start of my holiday here ! Thank you again :)

This is a nice and charming hotel. The people working there are very friendly. The food is excellent in taste and quality. Everything is made fresh. The chef checks wether you are satisfied. For our trip to Horton plains they made a nice picknick. Also completly fresh. We recommend this hotel.

We had a great Time at Orient hôtel, and a special thumb up for our guide Poulet - Comes in highly recommend! Kind, smiling, interesting, caring, and a great trail off the beaten tracks. We had a lovely time starting from the railway station, all the way to the bambarakanda falls

Overrated Hotel for the price, Always Spraying in the Room to make us drowsiness, House Keeping Staffs are unprofessional and always bullying, In hotel for every small issues reported they are murmuring for cash, TV is so small with no channels, SLT Peo TV not working, they are monitoring us and bullying, they want to make extra cash, there are ladies here and they want to make extra money by not allowing us to go to SPA, Restaurant food sometimes good sometimes bad, No Lift in the Hotel, I felt like they are checking our bags in the room.

We stayed here two nights with our Intrepid group as we travelled around Sri Lanka. Our room was clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was no problem to get some more water delivered to our room. The breakfast was good with fruit, eggs and lots of toast and pastries. Would stay here again.

This hotel is a true gem! Incredibly friendly stuff, delicious food, stunning service, beautiful garden (don't miss it!!), fine rooms. We truly were taken by surprise by this warm and welcoming hotel! Our highlight was our day trip to Horton Plains with Thilak and Thanujan who were brilliant guides and fantastic company. A very big thank you to this wonderful hotel! We would have loved to stay longer!

The hotel was great. Happy to have stayed in a family owned hotel: amazing room, large windows, breathtaking views, amazing back garden ( make sure you visit it) and wonderful staff who helped us every time we needed it -including an outdoor durian tasting :))
