The only downside was a middle-aged bellman who, after assisting with luggage and receiving a 20 Baht tip due to a lack of change, insisted on 50 Baht. Despite explaining our lack of small bills and having booked four rooms, he persisted, even demanding repayment the next day when others in our party had tipped him 50 Baht each for their rooms. That's disappointing.
