The hotel is nice and clean, the rooms are comfortable. But the outstanding thing is the service, staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is also excellent. We ate on two different nights, one night the food was very good on the other night there was a different chef and the food was superb. Definitely worth eating there, but we also got food envy watching the other diners as we wanted to try everything. Be prepared for lots of stairs! But the view from our bedroom window across the bay was absolutely amazing.

When asked about food for evening meal was told it would be a long wait as there were 2 tables of 8 infront of us.Didnt find this acceptable as they knew how many guests were booked in so should have been more prepared.We decided to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was far more organised and efficient and the breakfast staff were very attentive.

Just stayed one night in the family room. Bathroom was newly decorated and to a really good standard. Room was dated and dirty, with window sills and frames mouldy, bed headboard dusty, wallpaper peeling off, carpet in need of changing, but most importantly the door lock was not working!

Pleasant comfortable hotel for a short break in Bangor. Excellent view of the Menai straits and Bangor pier from our room (located in the adjacent annexe). Staff were efficient, friendly and polite both at check in and in the restaurant for breakfast. Would be happy to return on a future visit to the area.

Hotel in a great location by the pier. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was ok. Could do with some updating.

I stayed at this hotel for only one night with two other people and we paid for the dinner and breakfast inclusive. The hotel was amazing, everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The view from our room was beautiful especially in the morning watching the sunrise. Even sitting in the dining room with the glass windows, the view of the water was just gorgeous. All the staff were so kind and lovely to talk to, lots of conversations. They really went above and beyond and we were throughly impressed. Our dinner and breakfast inclusive were worth every pence. The portion sizes were massive and everything tasted delicious. We will definitely be booking this hotel next time we come back to Wales

Lovely seaviews and great location. Room was modern and clean. Breakfast was very disappointing messy cereal area, little choice and cooked breakfast greasy. Coffee the worst I have had in any hotel. A real contrast to the other breakfasts we had in Wales/Angelsey during our tour.
