After two days in Banyuwangi, this really is the only choice in town; we are so glad we didn't book another hotel. There is a nice park across the road and the night market is a short walk away. Restaurants, coffee shops and various other establishments all within walking distance. Note that the doors open inward; there's also no card entry so you can charge your devices while out. The WiFi is erratic and there is no fridge in the room, but no great bother. All the staff were excellent, including the front desk and cleaning staff. There's something enigmatic about this place and it all centers around the pool. It has a kind of cool, dystopian Las Vegas outskirts vibe to it. It could easily appear in a Coen brothers film if ever they come to Indonesia. It's not luxury, and W. Somerset Maugham probably wouldn't repeat, but we most certainly will next time we pass through.

Comfortable hotel at Banyuwangi, overall untuk kamar 4/5 minus hanya di ac yang berisik mengganggu tidur, amenities high quality + lengkap, breakfast 3.5/5 beberapa rasa nya hambar, sprti omelet, potato wedges tidak ada pepper and salt di restaurant table, staff 5/5 sangat ramah, dan membantu. Facilities 4.5/5 love the pool but not the gym, I will return if any chance in the future

Very good hotel for a transit stop as close to the ferry terminal for the Bali crossing. The hotel spread over a large area with cottages dotted around the main hotel building. Breakfast room spread over 2 large rooms with nice selection of hot and cold food. Pretty swimming pool overlooking the Straits. Cannot comment on the dining room experience as a wedding was taken place and service was affected due to this, but plenty of other eateries in the town.
