Location was close to everything we needed.. Staff tried there best to keep everyone happy. Description of property slightly misleading said that it had a laundry no laundry to be found on the premises att all

We were impressed how the property was being kept up and enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff was fantastic and local restaurant was very nice. We would definitely stay again!

Very large room with high ceilings and windows that open. This place has great character and the staff are very friendly

Excellent customer service and spacious room with a large bathroom. Enjoyed my stay and would consider staying in VR again.

Other guests were inconsiderate not keeping their noise levels low A little consideration goes a long way 😞 Staff were friendly enough I just struggled with the fact while booking us in they were talking in their own language

The hotel and staff were lovely. Very helpful receptionist. The room was good, spacious and the kids loved the very squishy beds! A little dated in parts but did us for the night. The walls are very thin and you could hear everything the neighbour was doing from watching their TV to them even coughing (and other bodily functions)! Outside was very noisy but this was to be somewhat expected with the location of the hotel (near the bar/club district) and that it was a Friday night however the constant revving of a motorbike or car engine at 3am was not pleasant. Over all was OK and we have booked to come back

I It was okay nothing out if the ordinary, basically just another hotel. Not happy about the fact nowhere meantioned a bond payment which left my partner and I without the ability to do anything for our 2 night stay! Will not be back

although the room was clean .Constant sound of water running in the room but wasnt our bathroom, must have freshly painted as there was smell of paint that caused two of us to have headaches unable to discuss this with anyone on departure as no one at the front desk at 8am guessing they left because of the stench we could smell...a sewage blockage, was not pleasant. Tanker was out the back clearing where we had to exit, back door open allowing smell to waft past restaurants open doors and into the lobby, some distance away, had to watch where we were steping. disappointing as this in its daywas a very grand hotel when it was le Grand. however for the $116 for the night I guess you get what you pay for.
