- Old facilities - Far from famous restaurants - Sink's too long to drain water (clogged) - No drain cover for bathtub (very disappointed, bec I have a toddler who always wants to soak into the tub) - Welcome drink in their description is not true, they only gave us a sachet of coffee, lol! Is this even a ”hotel”? Their description on Agoda says they have free water, free coffee, free tea. I only receieved those. Where's the welcome drink? (They did not give me even though I asked for it) - Cockroach are entering the bathroom bec the drains have no cover. - Elevator sticks! (Like a pee) 🤮 (Please don't call this place a hotel, bec it's not. The location of it has a good ambiance because it's inside of a golf club, but the hotel itself, won't definitely recommend it. - Safe is not working, batteries are not being replaced. - The aircon placed on top of the bed. So when the aircon moisted, it dripped on my sister's face. (Smart place for the aircon I guess? HAHA) - Service staff are on their BARE MINIMUM. 😅 It's not giving hotel vibe staycation. (Been to a lot of hotels recently, and I must say that from my experience here, I am very disappointed. U'll encounter situations you did not expect from this place, I mean looking at the pictures from agoda and trip advisor? Looks can be deceiving. (Paid for 5,850 pesos and I regretted booking here because there are a lot better hotels out there that costs just like that & sometimes even cheaper but excellent experience) - The only good thing about our vacation here is the people I'm with. ☺️

We recently visited at the El Hardin de Zaida for an overnight stay with mom and my aunt and I can say it was all pleasant. The place was a gated property at the border of Laiya and San Juan. Check-in procedures were great and we had a special treat of being upgraded to the premium stay which gave us access to the exclusive pool that is adjacent to our hotel room. For the room, it was clean and spotless one but the vanity desk didn't have a mirror in front of it. The bathroom was nice. It had a drying rack, a bidet but the shower needs a bath mat to prevent guests from unnecessary accidents. Food was splendid. Late lunch, an evening at Rudy's and the breakfast. One of our highly considered decisions for choosing El Hardin de Zaida was the Spa. Prior to the trip, we called the place to ask if we needed to book a reservation for the therapy but we were told that we can avail the services on the spot. When we arrived, we were told that there was only one therapist available. We were three. Therefore, it would be impossible for us to avail 2.5 hours worth of wellness services all together. We hope that this can be carefully addressed to prevent the guests from expecting the availability of the spa. Overall, the stay and the food was great.
Bbluewaffler27Checked in: Jan 25, 2021 Time: 9:51 PM Deluxe Room 12hrs Me and my partner checked-in at this hotel late at night since it was the decent one we found near the grand terminal. The room given to us was clean but the floor was really sticky. We remember checking in at around 10pm but I had to call the front desk the next morning (9am) just to make sure I'm not mistaken since they did not provide us any checkout information when we paid for our room. The girl who I spoke to said we checked in at 9pm and they will only allow a 15min grace period for us to pack up and leave right away. I asked how much it will cost for us to have an additional hour so we can eat breakfast but the girl said she is not sure of how and that she will need to call us back. After a few minutes she called back and said we need to pay 180PHP for another hour to spend at the hotel. My partner was the one who answered the call and agreed so that they would let us stay until 10am. They DO NOT SERVE ANY MEALS, only cup noodles and junk food so we had to order food delivery. My partner went down the lobby to get our breakfast from the delivery guy and also spoke to the receptionist to confirm what was our check-in time last night. She was told it was 9:51PM and not 9PM contrary to what she told me when I called. After eating we packed up our things and went down right away so that we no longer need to extend an additional hour on our stay. The receptionist told us we still need to pay 180PHP even though we did not consume the 1hr extension since it was already recorded on their system. I argued but had to pay since we were on a hurry. TLDR: WE WERE ASKED TO PAY FOR AN EXTRA HOUR ON OUR STAY EVEN THOUGH WE CHECKED OUT ON TIME. THEY DO NOT SERVE ANY MEALS. THE STAFF IS NOT FRIENDLY AND PROPERLY TRAINES, EVEN THE GUARD WHO KEPT ON STARING AT US. P.S I HOPE THE MANAGEMENT WILL TAKE ACTION AND TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE TO BE PROFESSIONAL. CUSTOMER RELATIONS NEED IMPROVEMENT. THE RECEPTIONIST IS INCONSIDERATE.
