Blue Diamond Guest House - Hostel

The only positive about this place is the pool area and friendly staff. Other than that it is not a great place at all. The private room pillows are harder than concrete, the sink was leaking non stop. We were fed raw chicken and laughed at when we brought it up to show them. Someone down the road screaming in a mic all night making it impossible to sleep.

Do not stay here !!! The rooms are NOT what they show in the pictures! Rooms are disgusting and the place is a dump! Not even worth $2 a night! Totally lying to paying people. Not even a bed in the room it's planks of wood screwed together ! Disgusting ! To top it off the town itself , Battambang is an utter dive and that reflects in the accommodation thats available! Don't go to Battambang all together let alone book this dump.

Terrible attitude from the minute we got there. Ordered food it was terrible and sent it back to be shouted at aggressively by a guy. We checked out and left and he came after us on a motorbike demanding us pay for food we didn’t eat and was continually aggressive. Worst place I have ever experienced in my life

Excellent! Really comfy beds. Great staff. Gorgeous swimming pool. Good food. Cool vibe. Nothing was too much bother. Young ladies in reception were super organised, professional and accomodating. Trips were arranged and dependable advice given with thoughtful advice. Would HIGHLY recommend a stay here.

A bit of bad weather down the south of Cambodia resulted in us heading up to Battambang. I feel Battambang is talked about as much o in research but it did not disappoint. We love this hostel we decided to stay an extra night! The pool area, restaurant and staff were all so nice we spent most of our time there! We had a great tuk tuk driver Mr Ton which the hostel organised for us, who took us into town when ever we wanted and on a half day tour to the killing caves, bamboo train and bat cave! I would definitely recommend him as a driver. This was such a great hostel would recommend when in Battambang!

Great hostel , great value , nice pool and staff are very helpful and friendly. 15 min walk into the middle of town. Nice bar and lounge area. Bathrooms are clean and wifi works well. I would go back and stay again.

Fantastic clean open and airy guest house with fabulous pool always fun to mix and mingle at meeting new friends. Highly recommended private rooms for only $6.00. Unbelievable value. I was recommended by Bar Ang and Battambang Scooter and Motorcycle Rentals.

DO NOT GO HERE We booked 2 nights at the guesthouse, but chose to leave because of the bad sircumstances. The room was dirty, and very hot even though there was a fan provided. We went to get food at the restaurant, both ordered a dish with cashew nuts, and there were worms in the food. The staff were rude about us pointing out the bad food, and when we chose to leave the guesthouse the man working the front desk got mad and made us pay for 1 night even though we were at the guesthouse for 5 minutes.

We arrived at hostel and placed our bags in our room. We then went to the restaurant, because we were starving, But our hunger disappeared fast due to the Worms in our food. We then wanted to check out right away, we were met by an angry staff member, who told us to pay for 1 Night even when we only had been there for 45 min. Oh and also we had to pay for our water….
