Au Cabaret Vert

Beautiful bungalow accommodation just outside the city centre! We loved our stay here, and the grounds are just beautiful! The owner made a point of saying hello to all the guests at breakfast which I thought was a lovely touch. Wifi is excellent, as are the laundry services! The food here was really tasty. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Battambang.

The place looks lovely, the staff is friendly and helpful. Mostly, everything is pleasant enough but there's a deal killer: the beds are horrible and the pillows hard as rocks. The bedding was so bad that even though I was supposed to stay two nights, I left after the first.

I preordered a spaghetti bolognese. The spaghetti have been reheated and was cut in small pieces. Wat it already cuted by an other client ?!?! For dessert, I ordered a scoop of ice cream. The ice cream was grainy and contained pieces of ice like it was an old ice cream. Two persons at our table didn’t have a napking. When I asked for it, the waiter said that they didn’t have any more !!! Overall, it has been a big deception and I don’t think that this restaurant deserve his good reputation.

If you are travelling to Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat, I recommend a visit to Battambang, to have a better sense of the "real" Cambodia in the sense that unlike Siem Reap it is not a town oriented around tourism, but a bustling and prosperous provincial town. And within Battambang, Au Cabaret Vert is a haven--a peaceful and beautiful boutique hotel with natural salt-water pool. The restaurant serves exquisite Khmer and French food, and has a good wine list. The staff were very helpful and arranged for us an excellent full-day cycling tour of the countryside with Soksabike.

We booked 5 nights and stayed 2 months ...comfortably installed in the bungalows next to the swimming pool. The hotel staff is extremely kind and goes the extra mile. Top kitchen as well with local and western dishes....and if it is not on the menu..just ask. Breakfast made to order The resort has some apartments for long term rentals. The location also excellent ..close to everything The staff goes the extra me for the well being of their customers so you end up with a family feeling. We will be back soon and thanks to accommodate us 6 stars ... in this special times

Un endroit charmant, calme mais en ville, doté d un restaurant excellent, personnel chaleureux et accueillant, manager très à l écoute et sympathique. 6 bungalow entourant une jolie piscine et un jardin luxuriant ! Je recommande vivement.

Nous avons passés deux nuits dans cette maison où la quiétude règne. Merci pour les bons plats fait minutes (ce qui peut prendre du temps). L’équipe nous a donné de bon conseils sur les différentes visites que nous pouvons faire sur Battambang et les environs. Merci à Mathieu et son équipe pour l’accueil. À bientôt.

Cet hôtel est extrêmement accueillant. Les chambres sont situées au milieu d'un écrin des verdure et entourent une magnifique piscine. Le propriétaire, français et très avenant, est auprès des clients pour les aider, les conseiller et discuter avec eux. La nourriture issue des cultures française et cambodgienne y est excellente. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre passage au Cabaret Vert que je recommande vivement.

Bonjour, le service, excellent le jardin merveilleux. La piscine sel c’est très bien pour l’environnement et la qualité des lits très bon. Environnement au calme et ça ça fait du bien. Pas de pagode autour ça, ça fait plaisir ! Le personnel attentif et ça ça fait plaisir.
