Beautiful hotel with amazing views of the lake

除了位置不如另外一家五星，（位置偏了1公里吧，但晚上正看兩個小島的燈火闌珊，這點反而超出），其他都超期望。

An excellent five day stay here. Our room was upgraded on arrival and we enjoyed a splendid lake view. The staff are all friendly and helpful and there is a minibus service into town. There is a superb choice at breakfast and it was lovely to sit on the terrace and enjoy the view of the islands.

The elevated setting of the hotel overlooking the Borromean Islands was mesmerising! The waiting staff were almost too attentive, absolutely superb. Menu of the day was 4 courses - a little too much if you don't eat much normally (not the hotel's fault though!). The scheduled hotel shuttle to Stresa was excellent but on Tues we booked a private collection from Stresa at 18.35 for the Wednesday. It was put on the sheet and I confirmed on Wed morning that they would collect us in the evening. They didn't turn up, meaning I had to phone them, incurring roaming charges and an international call. I complained and they waived the 12 Euro charge. Absolutely fine. Otherwise everything far exceeded expectations. We ate outside on the terrace on several occasions and enjoyed a barbecue on the Thursday evening as our Menu of the Day. Breakfast choice was huge, everything very fresh, especially the fruit.

We spent 7 days and 6 nights here, on half board, and it may well have been the most enjoyable hotels stay of our lives. First, the ambience is special, it has a joy in excess which perfectly complements the setting (echoes of Isola Bella everywhere). Second, the people are so charming and welcoming and enthusiastic that it felt like we were being subtly pampered every day. Third, the food was never less than perfect. While we were half board and so had a “limited” choice, we found different delicious options every night. We cannot recommend a stay here too highly. Our only thought as we left was when can we return?

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary - the hotel was absolutely amazing and the service exceptional. It is in the most stunningly beautiful location, the rooms are gorgeous and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend highly enough and we hope to return when we can.

Location, service and amenities were top of the line. Restaurant employees were attentive and work as a well oiled machine. Great team work. Will definety come back the next time we are in Lake Maggiore.

This hotel is highly recomended. Sat in a stunning position across from the Barromean Islands. Breakfast is second to none, with everything one could wish for. Complimentary shuttle bus takes five minuets to the town and staff run a personal service to meet your needs. Hotel staff go above and beyond to make your stay a special occassion. This hotel is highly recomended for many reasons.

As a world traveler, this is an absolute gem. The direct views of the Borromean Islands and the exceptional staff make this hotel unbeatable. Beautiful Italian style rooms and exceptional service make it a special experience. The complimentary bus service at your disposal, make town visits accessible. There are no negatives to comment on as this was a perfect hotel choice in a stunning location. Shout out to Ghia who exceeded all our expectations for hotel staff. Can’t wait to return and highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for 5 star hotel experiences.
