オテル ドメーヌ デ クロ(Domaine des Clos)

We spent four nights at Domaine des Clos and loved everything. We had booked a suite which was very spacious and nicely decorated, in line with the history of the place. The breakfast buffet was set up in the stylish dining room which was a former horse stall. The quality and variety of food available was great, including delicious home-made jam and yogurt, with plenty of savoury and sweet options. There was a light background classical music at breakfast which made you feel like you woke up in a castle. The gardens are magnificent offering several nicely arranged corners both covered and uncovered where you can sit alone and enjoy the peacefulness or spend time with family and friends. The park at the back of the buildings is full of huge old trees, cypresses and olive trees. The pool area like the rest of the place looks like taken out of a home decoration magazine. Finally the location is ideal, 30mn from all the places we wanted to see (Pont du Gard, St Remy and Baux de Provence, Avignon, Arles). Our only problem was that we did not have sufficient time to both see all the above (there are many more places to see as well) and spend enough time at the Domaine. We will have to come back.

The Property and its people are very nice, there is a lot of tranquility and it is an ideal area to rest. I recommend that when making the reservation you also make a reservation for dinner at the hotel restaurant because if you do not do so, the food will not be served and you will have to drive at least 11 km away to get a place to eat that is not It will not have the category or quality of the hotel.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Our room was spacious and comfortable. We even had access to a common kitchen and lounge. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed drinks in the evening on the terrace. The pool was so refreshing after a hot day exploring the region. This was exactly what we wanted from a stay in a French farmhouse. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Domaine des Clos in September 2023. It is a wonderful old winery, beautifully renovated offering plenty of space including a very nice and large pool. We had Suite Superior on the first floor facing south, overlooking the gorgeous inner yard. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated, the bath was totally new and one even had the possibility to make use of a large kitchen with all facilities. The Domaine has numerous areas to sit, read and relax both in- as well as outside. Breakfast was wonderful with everything you may wish for, sweet and salty, self-made jams and cakes and a broad variety of fruit, juices, cheese and ham. Dinner was rather simple - only two choices - but well-tasting. Service overall was extremely friendly and comforting. We definitively want to go back, it is also great fro day trips to Arles or Nimes.

We stayed for 1 night at the beginning of our holiday and it was the perfect start. Unique building and grounds, refurbished to the highest standard but incorporating interesting quirks to reflect the building's history. Didn't eat dinner here but enjoyed a cocktail overlooking the gardens. The buffet at breakfast was fab and had lots of variety and local produce- delicious! Really friendly team and hope to return one day soon.

The property was a dream. The staff were courteous, particularly the lady in the breakfast room, the server at dinner time, both of whom always had a smile. The lady who cleans the property found our son's shoes that we thought were lost and approached us at breakfast the next morning and brought the shoes back to us. (All these with us speaking zero French!) And Ms. Isabel who explained elaborately about the hotel and its services, and always seemed ready to answer questions. The meals were unpretentious and delicious :)

Beautiful property. Nice attentive staff. We enjoyed our stay and wished we stayed longer! We had dinner in town nearby at a wonderful restaurant - Auberge l’Amandine. Wonderful breakfast on property in the morning.

The whole domaine is a very special, comfortable place, beautifully and tastefully restored. My husband and I stayed for four nights in apartment Argence. We enjoyed having the little kitchen and space. We were on a touring holiday and it is nice to have a break from eating all meals out. As all reviews have said, the hotel is well located for day trips. The pool area is outstanding, so a perfect place to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would recommend. Slight negatives, but not enough to take it below 5 stars! There are mosquitoes, but the hotel does as much as it can to ease the issue, screens on windows, repellent provided and candles to burn. Our meal at the hotel was not very good, but reading reviews, it must have been an unlucky night to dine. We asked if we could bring our own wine to the meal and were told no.

Wonderful stay at Domain des Clos, the owners and their team were very warm and welcoming. The setting and accommodations were excellent. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent, we very much enjoyed the family recipes that the owners use in the restaurant! Accommodations were exceptionally clean with attention to every detail, including fine linens for the beds, table cloths and pool chaise covers. Thank you again for a stay that took me to my dreams.
