I love this place, staff are very warm and very very helpful. It made my traveling to Belgrade feel special. Kitchen is available, we usually cook and chat with many people. The place near with many attraction view such as river view. We can easily walk to the river view, and continue our walking to the fortress.

This was my first time travelling to Belgrade and Serbia so I wanted to base myself somewhere where I could meet likeminded travellers to explore the city with. The rooms are clean, you have a large locker allocated to you and I believe there are 4 bathrooms in total. The best part of the hostel is a combination of the stairs at the front of the property and the soul room at the basement. This is where you get to meet other travellers but also mingle with the staff which were super friendly and take an interest in getting to know about you. The hostel puts events on which also helps you interact with other guests. Whilst I was there, there was a cocktail night, Balkan Soul’s 6th birthday party and also family dinner night. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere central with lots around to do and people to meet.

Great hostel for solo travelers who enjoy meeting new people. The common room is spacious but also not too big, so interacting with others and introducing yourself is easy. The desk reception are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. The location is on a nice quiet street, but, still a short walk from city center. I hated that I had to leave because I met a lot of really great people.

The location of the hostel itself is excellent, the city centre and Kalemegdan are just around the corner. The staff is also amazing, they very kind and always ready to help. Would recommend Balkan Soul Hostel to everyone!
