Christmas break with family and friends. Such a big hotel complex so much so it felt cold in the lobby and public areas if not somewhat quirky with waterfall and bird avery. Don't quite know why but was disappointed overall. Staff lovely. Hotel clean rooms nice and views beautiful. Too noisy, too big and yet too small for facilities fir the number of guests. One bar for evening entertainment. Was not good in my view the bar and seating area too busy. The p.a. System sounded awful so singers sounded off! Not that anyone was really listening or could hear above noise of the very many children. No quiet areas to play cards or games. Some guests left a lot to be desired with their drunken inappropriate behaviour.!! But that is not the hotels fault... Restaurant busy. Staff lovely. Food choices good but food more often than not was warm to L luke warm and No hot plates ever. Sometimes lucky as arrived just as some food being topped up. Not enough coffee machines to cope. Disappointed overall.

The hotel when entering gives a sense of granduer and high expectations. Came for a 4 night stay starting on 29th December. One outside pool open but as expected at time of year cold as not heated. There is an outside jacuzzi next to the kid pool and playarea. Asked about the indoor pool and was advised it costs €12 per child and €15 per adult for an hour in the spa and only in the morning no other options available. Snack food was warm burgers hotdogs and nuggets with the usual side of chips or a salad bar of hard boiled eggs lettuce peppers olives and a pasta of some sort. The main restaurant food was good with lots of variety and plenty of local fare to try. The staff were very slick and professional throughout and tried to make every query achievable. The mini golf needs completely replacing as crumbling and ball kept getting stuck inside tunnels and obstacles with exposed re bar on certain holes. The rooms are dated and run down with chipped mirrors loose fittings and limescale encrusted taps etc. The sliding doors don't seal properly and it was noisy and the smell of others smoking on their balconies coming into the room. Beds were decent and got a good sleep once you were able to sleep. All a la carte restaurants were closed just buffet available. On site mini mart is mega expensive. It does have a 3 lane bowling alley for €3 per player for 10 frames and a decent arcade for the kids. Other than that nothing else really to do. It's a fair walk to the beach and nothing in the waterpark area open. It was advertised by jet 2 as a 4* never more than a 3*. Taxi cost 37 euros from airport one way. Its about a 15 min taxi ride into benalemdena or fuengirola to visit nearby attractions. The NYE 6 course meal and party were absolutely brilliant and put scotland to shame for party . The morning of new year's eve we were awoken to the sounds of a trio of tenors singing classical songs in the main foyer. For its downs the staff food and sheer size and awe of this hotel make up for make up for. With all facilities open in the holiday season we would like to return to experience it.

This hotel is out of the way from the main areas so need to get taxi or bus. Hotel is amazing and regardless of poor reviews we were not disappointed with anything. Food was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate. Entertainment ok. Water park is not the full month but kept the kids happy.

The hotel is great to look at, and rooms are spacious. The food on the other hand is absolutely terrible, went to dinner 2 nights out of 7 nights and it was really bad, I wouldn't recommend eating in this hotel. Not a lot to choose from and the food is very bland. We ate out 5 nights on our holiday. There is not a lot of choice for dinner especially young kids who are fussy eaters. Other than that, the stay was good.

Just arrived back after a holiday with my 8 year old. The hotel & water park were lovely but be warned. I'm in no way a fussy eater but the food is really poor quality. I've been on so many all inclusive holidays which the food was 100% better. It's very very repetitive It's a real shame as the hotel was great but the food really let it down !

The hotel is absolutely magnificent.ive stayed in 5* hotels and this is as good as any if not better.it is absolutely spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and a lot more than what we were expecting for the price we paid for a week all inclusive. However. The food here really lets the place down.a lot of it is inedible.the choice sp**** and,to be honest,repetitive.i luckily snapped two sausages in half at breakfast and they were raw inside.i overhead people by the pool complaining of the same thing so it wasn’t just me. If you only eat fruit you’re in luck because there is a lot of fresh fruit available and also pastries and cakes.at breakfast. If you want something hot, I can assure you,don’t bother. I feel bad about writing this because as I say the hotel is fantastic. Such a shame as I really wanted to come back and stay towards the end of the year and perhaps I will.but I’ll be self catering.

Stayed here over the Easter break and like most reviews I do have mixed feelings. 1. Our room was great, it was clean, spacious, beds where comfortable but the pillows where not, it was also not in need of a revamp like others have suggested (maybe we just got one of the better rooms), we had clean towels every day and beds made. But as for the €25 per wristband, this is only blocked from your card and charged if there is damage, I’m assuming if you pay cash that when’s it’s refunded. 2. The food was average as most have said and what you’d expect for AI, same variety everyday for all meal times but maybe a different “world” cuisine section to choose from that was the only difference I spotted. Some foods did seem a little cold when it’s been there a while but there was a microwave if you really don’t like it luke warm. 3. Bad weather!! I felt entertainment could have been a lot better when the weather isn’t great or maybe the animation team we found wandering around could have promoted something to help guests find something to do because the inside bar is really boring, even with a live act, no advertisement boards showing where the function room was for guests to know where the “indoor” entertainment was, it’s basically built like a concert room in a working men’s club, very odd lay out but you do have the option to download the QR code to see the hotel website though to see what’s on. 4. Just because you’re all AI doesn’t mean everything is unfortunately. You have to pay for the bowling which is €3 each, the use of the arcade is €1 per machine, the indoor pool was €15 per adult and €11 per child and you only get 1 hour, which has to be booked and only get to do it once. Slushies are €4 each but you do get the option to refill the plastic container they give you as many times as you want during your stay for free and the security box in your room also costs. If you do have the option to venture out, try and buy your supermarket things from outside as the indoor market at the hotel is pricey. 5. There is a mini golf round the back of the hotel and it’s actually pretty decent (and free to use) just ask reception for the clubs and balls. It is Astro-turf the surface so don’t go in with a competitive attitude haha but the courses are built with some added fun to make it enjoyable. 5. We were lucky to have 5 out of 7 days of really nice weather, enough to put sunlotion on and soak up the sun but the pool was freezing, like an ice bath but to be expected this time of year. Again up by the mini golf there is a free outside jacuzzi, small pool and play area but it can be overloaded with children trying to get warm but ideal for little babies or toddlers if you can find a time where it’s quiet. 6. Not hotel related but on the sunny days we did venture out and enjoy what Benalmádena had to offer. There was plenty good things that we enjoyed about this hotel. The inside of this hotel is beautiful decorated with a great theme through out. There is 2 play parks, crazy golf, kids club (although my 10 year old thought she was too old for it) , large swimming pool and kids pool. As well as an indoor pool (if all inclusive you get to use indoor pool once without paying). The ten pin bowling you pay extra for but it’s only3 euros per person and worth it. The entertainment team did games around the pool side which my daughter enjoyed. Our suite was large, clean and had plenty of storage. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower and 2 sinks. The balcony was also large. The not so good points was the bed was extremely uncomfortable (worse my husband and I ever slept on holiday). The food wasn’t the best. The entertainment in the evening was a hit or a miss but maybe in the summer it is better. We enjoyed the beach club which included drinks and the beach is very handy too. There is the free bus which takes you down the hill to the beach club and back up again. Ubers are quite cheap if you fancy going out somewhere else for the day. All in all we had a great time. A few changes and this hotel could be amazing

We took our grand daughter for her first holiday in Spain. It was terrible. Numerous reviews on food. I will keep short and sweet. Not a lot of choice, always cold, repetitive. When we checked in, there was food in the fridge from previous occupant. Reception chose not to understand issues. We had to leave a 25€ deposit per person for wristbands, never had to before, never understood why? We booked hotel for kids entertainment, this was non existent. Kids playing football in corridor to stay occupied says it all. A quiz on adult films titles as kids entertainment. Please We paid £80 for pool, sea view. We were given a four foot wall to look at, please see photos. You also need to be made aware of the double train track running right alone the fence line which is fairly consistently used at all times of day, never appears in any photos thou. Bathroom door handle wouldn't open, reported twice during week, no response so had to keep towel on the floor else would be looked in bathroom. Again see photos There are enough reviews tearing this place apart, I agree with 99% of them. Shame on you jet 2. This place is below poor. Dirty, dated and not nice. Certainly not 4 star. The only positive the rooms are big and spacious, fairly modern. The cleaning of these rooms doesn't exist. I can honestly say, our beds were remade with the same bedding for the whole week. Please before you book, read reviews there are enough being written saying the same thing, people certainly wouldn't go back
