The property is smaller but very nice. Food was good, but not much of variety at all, I'm guessing due to smaller property. Drinks if you don't get the right Vodka it tastes rancid, not sure what brand they use for well drinks but it was horrible!! Staff for the most part was good, some just seemed super crabby and didn't want to help you. I'm not a high maintenance person but acknowledgement that you will get to me goes a long way. I feel they need some work, but over all it was a fun stay!

This property was fantastic, we traveled with a large group of friends! It was clean and brand new. It is on the smaller side but we did not feel anything was missing and appreciated everything being close to our room. It does not have a beach to sit on but in low tide you can walk a short bit, If a beach is a must this is not for you! We were able to go into the ocean and float which was fine for us and the pool was great and we spent everyday there. The food at every location was great and had many options. The reservation system to pre reserve was frustrating when you could not get in and numerous empty tables were available. The drinks were plentiful and prompt. Like other resorts if you did not upgrade your liquor when ordering a drink they were terrible, worst any of us had tasted. The staff was all helpful and attentive but I will say the bartenders did seem a bit understaffed and not as friendly because of that I assume. I would not be turned off by the reviews of the point system to get snacks or beer for your room. I have personally never drank from the pre filled liquor bottles at any resort nor do I feel rooms are stocked with unlimited snacks. The points were plentiful to get chips, some beers or your own bottle of liquor for your room if you want that. Overall this resort was great and I would recommend it to anyone!

The staff at Margaritaville were incredible, they were always there to help and made you laugh while doing so. I couldn't say enough good things about them. The resort overall was small, but very clean. We went there a few months after it opened and it was one of the first weeks they were at full capacity. It wasn't overly crowded at full capacity which was really nice but a lot of the time they only had one staff member behind the bar so getting a drink in the pool would take a little while. We upgraded our room to what I thought was a swim up room however upon getting to our room, it wasn't the same room I thought it was. I was a little upset because I would not have spent any additional money to have the room that we did. The pool area was awesome with plenty of activities and places to eat - keep in mind that the floors around the are sooooo slippery and the tiles near License to Chill will burn your feet in the sun. Apparently a few years back, a hurricane wiped away the beach so keep in mind there is *no* beach at this resort, only the pools. In my opinion, JWB Steakhouse was overrated and wasn't the greatest but Frank & Lola's was to die for. These are the 2 restaurants that you have to make reservations for - be sure to do so when you first arrive or else they will book out. We had to eat at 930pm each night because all other times were full. I went with a group of 12, a mix of couples and friends and we had an absolute blast!

This is an amazing Resort! My wife and I have been to 6 different resorts on the Yucatan, and this has been the best, that means a lot because we have stayed at some incredible resorts over the last 12 years. The service, food and the resort itself would be hard to beat. The all-adult classification definitely created a relaxed and slower paced environment. So if you are looking to re-energize your mind and body, this is the place.

The property was new. All of the staff were friendly, very welcoming and attentive to your needs. The food and drinks were good. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend.

Disappointed there was no beach access. Limited entertainment throughout the day, especially at the pool area.

Not very many restaurants and when it says no reservations needed you still need them.Food at 2 special restaurants was good. Buffet and bar food was average. Spa services excellent.

We went on our honeymoon here January 2024. The property is clean, staff are friendly, and there were 3 different supper restaurants to choose from. The steakhouse was the best food and amazing service. The Italian place was good food and good service. The Landshark pub was mediocre food and less than ideal service. The breakfast buffet was always consistently good. The coffee shop was great. The best thing about this property is the multiple pools, and abundant pool chaise loungers with umbrellas. We never had to fight for a pool chair. The beach/ocean access was closed, but we didn’t mind because the ocean wasn’t nice enough to swim in (lots of algae this time of year). The poolside drinks were awesome. The pool area food hut had amazing tacos and ceviche. We felt very safe because there was an armed guard always patrolling the beach side of the property. Overall we loved our stay and will return in the future.

The experience was wonderful. The only downfall is due to unfortunate circumstances that isn't controlled by the resort but the environment is that you can't enjoy the beach. You can see it but can't enter. But I suggest reserving the swimup room on the 3rd floor. My husband and I enjoyed the swimup.
