グランド オテル ベノデ アバティアレ(Grand Hotel Abbatiale)

We had booked rooms associated with the hotel but just around the corner and found them to be very poor, we changed to the main hotel at an extra cost. The staff are wonderful and the location is ok but away from the main restaurant areas of Benodet, unfortunately the hotel did not offer evening dining and the breakfast is poor

This hotel is very well sited, right by the beautiful estuary, and five minutes from the sea front..All staff are professional, helpful and friendly. It offers wheelchair accessible accommodation and reserved parking for disabled guests, which is enormously helpful.

We arrived in Benodet on our sailing boat and wanted a couple of nights of comfort. The hotel provided that and more. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful. It is situated in the older part of the town, a few steps from the river, near fish restaurants and creperies. There are good walks to the nearby beaches.

We enjoyed staying at this property very much. The location was great, the staff were excellent and the room was brilliant with a great view.

Beautiful property, centrally located in the nice little village of Benodet. The vintage-looking structure is functional and economical. Recommended as an initial stage for those preparing to travel the route des phares

Hotel has an impressive history but clearly no rennovation or decoration has taken place in too long. Our room was small, there was no closet, just a few hangers and we had to remove the extra pillows in order to obtain at least some storage space for the rest of our stuff. The furniture in the breakfast room is depressing and should be replaced.

This is a very affordable and comfortable hotel in a great location close to the beach and boat services. The reception staff are particularly friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Recommended.

Bedroom was clean and comfortable a choice of a firmer pillow would have made for a better nights sleep. No where in shower cubicle to put shampoo bottle, I know there was a dispenser on the wall, but I prefer to use my own. As most of the surrounding restaurants were closed on the day of our arrival we ordered from the room service menu which we found to be almost in edible.

One night stay with friends. Good size room, large comfortable bed and views over the river. Close to town and benefit of on site parking. Very good breakfast. No evening meals available except for basic food which would not recommend.
