This period hotel is located over 2 buildings that are opposite each other. The reception staff were friendly, quick and efficient in both check in and check out. Our room was located in the building opposite reception, so just a short walk across a quiet street. The room was a fair size, clean, neat and tidy. The shower was a little small, but decent, clean and big enough for me (6'1"). There was no tea/coffee making equipment in the room, but that could be because we were room only. We didn't eat in the restaurant at all., so can't comment on the food quality. The hotel is located in a quiet side street, but close enough for a short walk to Berlin Mitte. We were not disturbed with any street noise at all (Room on 2nd floor) during evenings or nights. There are several good restaurants, and several little coffee shops/ breakfast places all within 100 metres of the hotel. It's easy to get to from the airport. Either take the FEX train to Berlin hbf and then a 12/15 min walk to the hotel, or take the RB23 or RE8 to Fredrichstrasse hbf and its a 3 min walk. Both take about 30-40 mins and cost 4 euro per person each way. We bought an ABC Zones travel card, which we think (and hope) was correct! Be aware that the FEX is hourly, so you'll have to time your journey. Highly Recommended.

Location excellent. 5 mins to train station but very quiet street. Walking distance to most of the main places. Breakfast overpriced Disliked Fan provided but very noisy ,unable to leave on overnight.

Very clean and exceptionally big rooms . I had a family room which had a separate pull down for a bed The bathroom was really big.... ( Although a kettle in the room would have come in handy) The staff were really friendly and helpful .. our door key broke, and to get it changed quite a few times . I think more information in English to help tourists get around. The city would be helpful

Good location, near the railstation, many good restaurant, close to the Speer river. Clean , but small rooms. Squaky bed and too pillows. Breakfast is good. At night too warm at the room. Quiet hotel.

Good location on a quiet street and within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The rooms are much smaller than competitor hotels down the street for the same price. I got a special chocolate on St Nick day before Christmas, that was a wonderful surprise. The hotel was so quiet and in 4 nights there I literally saw no guests and no workers (the check in was across the street at another hotel). I didn't have an issue with walking back and forth from the other hotel to check in, but my key card stopped working and it was a bit annoying to have to go to other building to fix this and also for check out. The bottled water in the room was grossly overpriced, when competitors are offering free water just down the street. I had a pleasant stay, and would recommend this place if nearby hotels of the same caliber are higher priced for the nights you are choosing, otherwise go to another / similar hotel.

We stayed at this hotel, all was quite ok - spacious room, clean, quiet. The gentleman who checked us in at midnight was kind and polite. But prior to arriving we sent a question through *********** to ask about transportation, and the person who replied wrote “no” as an answer, didn’t send any info, any advice on where to find more info about transportation- nothing just “no”. This is not at all hospitality and i found it quite rude. It diminished our good impression and good stay at the hotel. Honestly I would prefer this person not answering *********** messages at all and I call the receptionist directly rather than getting a short rude answer like he/she hates this job and hate all customers so much.
