Very friendly (but unobtrusive) staff, a quiet and very clean room, a comfortable bed and a generous and relaxed breakfast made our stay a very pleasant one. We’ll definitely be returning. The Christmas display on the roof terrace made up for the grey skies!

Our 4th time staying here and it is a great place to stay. Very well placed for access to public transport and you can get everywhere in the city easily. Rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, cleaned every day. Staff on reception are pleasant, helpful and polite. They have a lovely terrace, beautifully set up for Christmas. Breakfast is a super buffet with all you would expect in a German hotel. They even have a vegan selection for breakfast now. There are several local bars and restaurants within a very few metres, including traditional German, Greek and Italian. Reception will give recommendations if you ask them. It's not the poshest of areas, but you never feel unsafe. We will certainly be returning to the LVB next time we come to Berlin. My only small negative comment is that the information packs in the rooms are out of date. TV channel list isn't correct and it says that the hotel bar is open until midnight, but it actually shuts at 10 pm, which is maybe a bit early!

The cleanliness of the hotel was fine. For breakfast, I recommend getting a coffee machine, not just pre-brewed long coffee. It is the same in the other hotels in Berlin.

The staff was awesome and helpful; thank you Fardin/Claudia (reception), Lorraine (housekeeping). The 24 hour front desk service is great. The location is on the train lines. I loved the choices at breakfast, they were fresh and delicious. In addition, the lovely paintings placed throughout the hotel were an unexpected plus! Thank you.

First and foremost the staff are awesome. It’s 24 hour concierge service so no need to worry about safety and they know a lot about Berlin and can point out sites including laundry and other sights on the spot. The hotel is on a street with great Indian, Viet, Thai and Turkish foods that are really good. With Hermanplatz down the road getting around the city is convenient

Great location for our trip. Went to a show, had some food and drinks at the hotel. Would absolutely come back.
