Being raised in Benton Harbor is totally different than returning as a Visitor. The Hotel room had a strong smoke smell, mini fridge was dirty, paint was peeling in some spots . Needless to say my first time at Red Roof Inn was my last time at Red Roof Inn.

I really liked staying here. It is a wonderful hotel and will definitely stay again

For this money great stay plus we had a puppy and no additional charge

Terrible place to stay. People coming and going loudly until 5 am when we’d had enough and left. Someone broke into our room in the middle of the night fortunately we had the door latch in place. How they could get into our room without our key card we aren’t sure. The place is supposed to be a non smoking place but our non smoking room wreaked of smoke

They put us in a room were the toilet did not flush.

The property is really old and needs updating. There were holes in the wall and mold in the bathroom.

Overall, the property was very dirty. There is trash laying everywhere outside and the sidewalks were black with grime. Our unit had very dirty floors and I had to ask front desk to send someone to mop the floors, replace the smoke alarm battery (pinging) help with shower (water would not turn on) replace phone cord which was broken). Staff were amenable to helping promptly but all these were unexpected things upon checkin.

This was a very dirty hotel there was a cockroach in the bathroom just disgusting

The property was very dirty, room was in bed poor condition, literally floor was sticky. Smelled really bad. Also noticed drug dealing going couple doors down. Immediately went back to the front office to let them know I was checking out, I rather sleep in my car, just hope they give me my money back. Stay away from that place. Seriously the entire place needs to be leveled down to a vacant lot. Worst hotel experience ever!!!!
