ドリント ストランドホテル ビンツ / リューゲン(Dorint Strandhotel Binz/Ruegen)

I ended up in Binz spontaneously and stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I had a spacious ocean view room with separate living area and balcony and I loved it. The hotel is separated from the beach only by the pedestrian promenade and very quiet. The AC in the room was working well. Unfortunately, due to the many mosquitoes in the area at the time, I did not want to keep the windows open at night. The atmosphere and the food in the bar/restaurant was excellent, as well as the breakfast buffet. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Very convenient location and the elevator was also helpful for me. Overall my short stay at this hotel and in Binz was great! Would definitely return!

This hotel is close to perfect. Great facilities and service above normal. The location could not have been better. The room we got was bigger than ecpected with full equipment. The spa in the basement was not to big, but enough. The restaurant serves very good food and the breakfast had everything. The women in the the breakfast-restaurant are the best... and so are the front desk staff. Hope you pay them well! We will be back.

Upon arrival, we were surprised at how old-fashioned the rooms were. We decided to go out for dinner after which we got food poisoning (the only thing we both ate was fish). We contacted the hotel staff but they were not very helpful. The next day we decided to leave the hotel because we no longer wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant. When leaving, the staff was rude and they charged us for dinner, which caused us to spend the night vomiting and having diarrhea. They charged us for one night more than was indicated on the Booking (and tried to charge us extra for breakfast that we didn't have, and was included in Booking price). Their argument was "You are the first guests to complain". We are definitely not coming back to this hotel!

Beautiful, immaculate, spacious. Comfy rooms, friendly staff, generous breakfast. And an exquisite restaurant. All right on the seaside promenade.

Older property near beach but with no beach amenities like chairs, lounges or towels. Pool was small and underground, seemed like an afterthought. Rooms were large but older. Paid for lateral sea view but this was a waste, can't see beach or water through the trees. Bath/shower combo was dangerous for us and anyone with reduced mobility or muscle tone. There was a hand hold but our greatest concern was falling in the tub. Overall, large room but over priced, did not receive value we were hoping for.

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service, tolles Frühstück bis 12.00 Uhr. Zimmer großzügig und gemütlich, Lage spitze. Saunabereich gut, Schwimmbad schön, wenn auch etwas kaltes Wasser. Restaurant und Bar im Hotel sehr solide Qualität.

Für uns ist es tatsächlich das beste Hotel in Binz. Es passt alles. Die Lage ist optimal. Nicht direkt im Zentrum aber nicht weit entfernt. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und die Ausstattung für uns optimal. Was nützten einem Designer Möbel etc. Wir sind der Meinung es muss praktisch sein und man muss alles verstauen können. Es gibt nichts Schlimmeres, als wenn keine Schränke oder Stauräume vorhanden sind und alles rum liegt. Ein sehr wichtiger Punkt ist auch, dass Hunde willkommen sind. Leider ist das auf der Insel nicht selbstverständlich. Alle Angestellten sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Garage ist tatsächlich nicht optimal. Die Plätze sind eng und teuer. Die Einfahrt finde ich gar nicht störend, denn die neue mit dem Aufzug möchte ich auf keinen Fall nutzen müssen. Alles in allem - super Urlaub! Vielen Dank.

Das Hotel ist Dank seines Gesamteindruckes, hinsichtlich Lage zu Strand, fussläufigem Abstand zur Hauptstrasse (Geschäfte, Gastronomie etc), Geräumigkeit der Zimmer und insbesondere des Service-Personals sehr zu empfehlen.
