Super 8 by Wyndham Christiansburg/Blacksburg Area

Small place, stayed two nights. Rooms are small. The breakfast is not good. It is worth paying 100 a night. We paid over 200 a night for our stay. Not worth it for the price.

It’s a rip off to pay $300/night for this property. Very low budget and very old and outdated.

The room smelled and when we turned on the vent in the bathroom the smoke smell somehow got even worse.

It's a basic hotel which is usually more than satisfactory for a quick stay when we're on a short trip to a new place. However, we stayed in a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke. The breakfast consisted entirely of pre-packaged honey buns and instant oatmeal.

The room itself was very clean and the front staff at the desk for extremely helpful. Only issue was the smell and cigarette burns in my blanket. Is it on my blanket no.

This was such a bad hotel we checked in and checked right out, it was dirty, filled with bugs and moldy. If AIDS and cancer had a baby it would be this hotel, biggest hotel disaster ever. Never stay here and ********** should remove it as a possibility

Check in was smooth and front desk friendly. The hallways and room had a very musty smell!

If you are looking for a decent internet connection, don't stay here. Otherwise, it is a great place to stay. It is close to many amenities, clean, and all around nice hotel.

Super 8 fit my desire for a safe and convenient place to stay near Virginia Tech. Staff were friendly and kind and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to a number of restaurants, stores, and the university, and it was the best price of the hotels I searched. Breakfast is quite sp****, and the amenities and general "feel" are fairly no-frills, but it fit the bill for my purposes, and I had a very nice experience.
