So disappointed after writing a review on ******* that we decided to come here. The response to our review which was not overly critical (but did lay out some problems) was met with nothing short of hostility and sarcasm. We recommended a second story room because 1st floor has no outside seating. The laundry service was great. We were not happy that the a/c didn’t go below 24c. we never asked for 17c. The kitchen was lacking in a few basic amenities yet we are told they were all there during the morning check of the room? So I guess someone snuck into the room and removed items before we checked in. We were accused of calling 20 times in 3 days which is ridiculous and made to look like we were difficult. Let’s see we asked how to light the stove, reported a malfunctioning toilet, asked how the remote worked and asked for toilet paper (major sin apparently). If this is considered 20 times then clearly I owe this disgruntled owner an apology, but I don’t think so. We were in Central America for 83 nights in 32 hotels, all around the same price point, this was by far our most disappointing.

The apar**ents/lodge is located a bit away from the ferry docks. The area is quieter. I stayed in a larger room suitable for 4 people. Roomy. Not much of a view. Air conditioner worked well. Here is the problem - during high tide times and when raining, the area/streets get flooded.

Very basic stay. Try for a second story room. First floor has no furniture for outside seating, the interior court is very small and your other option puts you basically on the side walk. We took dining rooms chairs to there. 2nd floor rooms had balconies with furniture. Laundry service was outstanding. Having a kitchen was a bonus but limited tools available. A strainer for pasta (a travellers staple) would have been nice. Also what was left of a melted spatula made it tough to flip anything in the pan. Coffee maker and blender looked pretty new. Air conditioner didn’t go below 24c. Was pretty warm. All in all, not sure it was worth the price, spend an extra $20.

Booked for a week based on the online appearance. No bedding, just sheets. The air conditioner was set to 24 permanantly. Room never cooled down. Kitchen almost toy-like. Bathroom rediculous and nasty. Traffic noise intollarable. Whole street smells of open sewer. No parking as advertised. We left after one night and were charged for the whole week. Sad. Maybe remove the dirty, old piano and fix the tiny kitchen and bathroom with the space you gain.

Host was welcoming and helpful when we had questions. Place was clean, we had a nice view of the water, it was a great location, close to the town but not right in town (5 min walk). Also a super quick walk to markets, coffee shops and restaurants.

Won’t be coming here again. Place smelt like sewage and the lady owner is rude and stuck up. 1 star Water dripping down from ceiling. And sewage smell . Won’t be coming here and definitely don’t recommend

Mold... Not maintained... Noise... Rude management... No hot water.... Not safe... Dirty... Overcharged hotel fee... Manager not there from 7pm to 9 am... Amenities not working properly... Propane tank in room.... Rust.... paint loss... Stucco loss... Ceiling falling apart... Not a good place if you want to feel good... Wet tile.. Trash laying around... Outside sewage problem... Overall the worst place me and my wife ever stayed at
