Breakfast was fantastic. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The porch was really nice to step out on and listen to the birds. Everyone we talked to at the inn was super friendly and made great recommendations. Would visit again.

What a charming downtown inn! The room in which we stayed had beautiful wicker furniture and was very spacious. And the bath towels were so luxurious. The included fresh breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. With so many inns in the area from which to choose, the Harbour Towne Inn will always be my choice.

We booked this according to the reviews & WOW were they RIGHT! From the moment we walked pulled the car in, we knew we chose the right place to stay for 4-days in Boothbay Harbor. Stephanie (owner) welcomed us at the door with a generous smile, coffee & cookies, and an upgrade to the penthouse suite from the king suite we reserved. The suite was amazing and we felt so blessed. Stephanie continued to make us feel at home with her homemade breakfast (quiche, fresh fruit, fresh baked breads, yogurt, homemade granola & more). She was a wealth of information about the area, what to do & where to eat. The shops & restaurants are just a block or so away - tons of options. The room was spotless! The matress was comfy with fluffly pillows. No dust, bugs, etc. even in the corners - and we are 'clean freaks'. Everything was A+ perfect. We couldn't have found a better place to stay, we couldn't have found a more welcoming hostess. Our accomodations truly made our vacation perfectly peaceful, quiet, romantic & seamless. There's a reason this is the #1 B&B in the bay. Thank you Stephanie for one of the most memorable stays every!

Our first time here and we were happy with the location of the property where we could park and walk to all the shops and restaurants. Beautiful views of the harbor and enjoyed just relaxing on the deck and taking it all in. Cozy atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning. Stephanie was a lovely host! We will be back!

This what a B'n'B should be. From the moment we saw the beautiful house with lush plantings along the walk to the porch, we knew we had landed in Oz. Stefanie, inn keeper, welcomed us with the warmest smile imaginable in the parlor filled with plants and the aroma of warm freshly baked cookies and the best coffee ever. We quickly learned that this is the afternoon ritual Stefanie maintains. Her breakfasts are delicious: fresh baked eggs, croissants, fresh fruit & yogurt. But Aunt Gladys's English muffin bread toast with Stefanie's homemade blueberry jam and rhubarb coffee cake gifted by a friend, oh my, what a special treat! As a true innkeeper should offer, recommendations for restaurants, sights and so many activities were spot on. The adorable village of Boothbay Harbor is an easy walk away. The private off-street lot is really nice and our cozy room had porch chairs where we enjoyed watching harbor goings-on. The second highlight of our trip (behind Stefanie) was the Maine Botanical Gardens. DO NOT MISS THIS! Google the website. Yep, this was one of the very best experiences we've enjoyed among many. Thank you Stefanie and all the other guests who helped kick this trip over the moon.

We loved our stay at The Harbor Towne Inn! We were there celebrating a birthday. Great location right in town - we walked to dinner, went to Garden's Aglow at the Botanical Garden! So much we loved about the inn including private downtown parking on the harbor, great view of the harbor from our room, the spaciousness, art & decor, furniture, bathroom with 2 windows & mini fridge, balcony with seating & stunning view, comfy bed & pillows. The delicious, generous breakfast and Stephanie's hospitality on Sunday morning was beyond expectations! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I snuck away for the weekend to Boothbay Harbor. It had been 30 yrs since we had last been there. I booked a night here at the Harbour Towne Inn on the Waterfront. Stephanie was legitimately one of the sweetest people I have engaged with. So helpful and her cooking was out of this world. My husband is still talking about the breakfast which is all homemade and fabulous. The Inn is filled with treasures from the past and the views were great. The rooms are well appointed and the location is close enough to downtown but also there is parking behind to ensure you have a spot. All and all we would not hesitate to go back, between the comfort of the bed, the space provided, the incredible breakfast, and the unmatched hospitality. This trip was kicking off our 50th birthday year, we are visiting people or places that have made up our first 50 yrs here and I am so happy that Stephanie is now part of my next 50.

Location great.. Rooms small and cramped. Stained floor and runners. Security tags on pillows. No security locks on ground floor rooms. Patio overlooks drive. Common area small and tight. Bkfst OK. No in room coffee. Owner not responsive. Disappointing stay.

Needed some solo time away and went to Harbour Towne Inn in beautiful Boothbay Harbor. Stefanie is such a caring, fun host. What a great sense of humor! My room was beautifully decorated and so comfortable! Very quiet at night. Breakfast in the morning was so delicious with a wide variety of offerings. Stefanie is sensitive to people’s dislikes and allergies. It was fun to shop the downtown area that is in walking distance as well as many restaurants. Since I already had off street parking it made it so easy. Did I mention the views from the inn? Just stunning! Can’t wait to go back.
