ヴィラ セギュール(Villa Segur)

This was a very nice place to stay. Very close to Gare St Jean. Helpful friendly receptionists. The guy helped us work out the trams annd recommended and gave us directions for a restaurant. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Would recommend for the price.

Nice, stylish, character place couple of minutes from the Bordeaux station. My toom was on two levels - not everyone will appreciate stairs down to bathroom during the night! Bathrobes was nice extra, and breakfast brought to room on tray. Couple of minor *******, no bin in bedroom, bulb gone in bathroom.... Felt really secure as solo traveller

This is a beautiful boutique property located very close tit he train station and in a quiet, calm corner of the city. It is close to tram stops and also walkable to the center of town. Lovely, luminous, spacious (for France) accommodation with all conveniences. Very highly recommend this hidden gem!

The hotel is located a 30 minute walk from the centre of Bordeaux and most tourist attractions and restaurants. There is a tram close by that can be used very easily. The hotel room (junior suite) was large but had a strange layout with very steep stairs down to the bathroom which would not be suitable for any small children who are walking/crawling or older people. Most rooms seemed to have steps. There was no kettle or ironing board/iron provided and no phone to call reception to ask for these things and there is not always someone at reception to ask. We emailed to ask for help to arrange a wine tour before we arrived and this was not sorted so we had to organise something ourselves. I don’t think we would stay here again.

Should say that bathroom is on different floor than bed! Important for old people.

Cosy accomodation in a quite area of Bordeaux. It's very easy to reach by train or tramway. The breakfast is served in the room. I recommend the accomodation for public transport travellers, St-Jean is 300m away.

Well located but frustrating stay. We weren’t allowed to check in a minute early so had to wait in a local coffee shop. The room had a downstairs part which resembled a waiting room and then a tiny spiral staircase to the bedroom. The staircase was too small to get a suitcase up, and was very slippery. There was a kitchenette downstairs, but no tea or coffee making facilities - making no sense. There is little noise insulation between rooms.

This place was great loved the area and the staff were very good and helpful

The hotel was in an excellent location. Quiet but close to the train station and within east walking distance of local amenities and tourist attractions. Would recommend and would definitely stay again if in Bordeaux.
