Hotel Montenegro

Friendly staff that makes the difference if many of your employees are inexperienced. There are countries that excel in all inclusive, Monte***** neither its neighbours do not. I rated hotel as very good, no points deducted that mini bar was excluded from all inclusive. I had read a review that warned that shower cubicles are tiny. They were tiny. Shower had excellent water pressure and tap water was drinkable and good tasting. There were enough sun beds at the very good beach. Families with small children preferred the pool area and also indoor pool had plenty of usage.

The worst hotel experience for us. Rooms are always dirty. They never vacuum the carpets. It feels terrible to step on barefoods. Employees are not kindly. Plage is too crowded. You always worry about to find sunbeds at the beach everymorning. You can choose other hotels. Like iberostar. You choose to stay around kotor. Not Budva. Also the breakfast is terrible and they used low quality products.

We had a really great week at this lovely hotel. We were in the new building and our room was modern, clean and spacious with full air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and the food was excellent at every meal, we chose all inclusive and there was lots of choice, everything was fresh and tasty with a great choice of wines, beer, cocktails and delicious coffee. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back with Jet2 and would recommend a stay here. The location was great with the Old Town of Budva a nice walk away and plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. Monte***** was a great country to visit and we enjoyed 2 trips, Monte***** Blue and Lake Skadar during our week there.

We arrived very late at the hotel and were delighted to find a plate of food in our rooms. However the rest of our stay did not live up to first impressions. Our room was not cleaned 3 days running, the floor wasn’t swept and the bedding not changed. The food was basic and was the same all week in the restaurant. No to little variety and the hot food was luke warm, served on cold plates with the salad plates being hot! I had chicken that was pink in the middle and luke warm. There was no entertainment in the hotel apart from singers as you ate your evening meal. Despite us having 6 out of 7 days of torrential rain, there was nothing to do in the hotel, no entertainment put on and nowhere comfortable to sit such as a lounge area. When checking out we were asked if the hotel had been good. When we expressed we had some issues, he commented ‘we will just brush over that then will we?’ Would not recommend this hotel. The area is lovely and yes, we were very unfortunate with the weather. Everywhere looks better in the sun, but still, a smile as you pass costs nothing.

Nice hospitality experience, rooms cleaned everyday, wide buffet each morning with a choice of pool or private beach. Lovely cafe and bar on site. Staff were wonderful. All set in a beautiful country.

Perhaps end of season, one bar open, all inclusive a disgrace unless you are alcohol dependent. Restaurant staff bone idle, leaving dirty dishes on residents tables rather than collecting them. There was a dark haired lady who was tremendous doing three persons work 👏👏. Only time seen a table outside get cleaned was for a manager having breakfast. Dirty tables = flies! More cats than residents, they get in the restaurant! Very poor choice of food apart from one night when they had a convention to cater for, disgrace really. Room service knocking on door just after 8am to get in!!’ C’mon really. Ed was comfy, shower alright. Air con switched off in hotel. Private beach is the biggest joke of all, worst beach I’ve ever seen anywhere. Could never recommend this hotel,

Had a lovely week stay in hotel Monte***** all inclusive, a hour and a bit by taxi transfer from Podgorica was £80 (pre booked both ways) the food was varied and plentiful with fish, meat, salad, cheese etc etc wine and local spirits all delicious. The hotel is scrupulously clean smelling lovely and is constantly kept that way, staff pleasant friendly and helpful. With a private hotel beach (free sun lounges and towels) indoor and outdoor pools which is great, the resort is picturesque mountains and a millpond ocean however. Away from the hotel it is a little unkempt and great if you love cats but the old town of budva is beautiful high end shops restaurants etc and the old citadel is well worth a visit. Overall a perfect relaxing place which I wouldn’t hesitate to return to and hopefully will make it soon

Great hotel, locations is superb and facilities were spot on. The beach restaurant is a must for quality affordable food!

We stayed at this hotel for a week and enjoyed all aspects of the hotel Inc Gusto Beer Garden and Mica coffee shop. The hotel has v friendly and helpful staff. The buffet display at b fast and at dinner time is well spread out and tasty including an Italian counter with pasta and pizzas. Kristina D in the main restaurant always served us with a warm smile and had a helpful attitude.
