ファースト ホテル グランド ファールン(First Hotel Grand Falun)

One of the worst hotels I have ever been. When we arrived we were given the card for our room and that is all: it seems like we were entitled to dinner, since some friends who were staying under the same conditions were given a voucher but we were never told about it...until the day after, when we had to ask for it. Not professional. In the room, the bathroom setup was very poor and we missed details that would make our stay easier (products, towels...) Most importantly, the room was worn out and looked not acceptable, for this long-experienced hotel. The shuffleboard was in very bad state, missing pieces and not working properly. Dinner at the restaurant was good quality (not for vegans, though) but very mall amount for the price. Not worth it. For the price we paid, it is absolutely a non-come back. Very sad because we stayed there by recommendation-agreement but never again.

The hotel is run down, filthy and on top Daily cleaning on request only!!! Parking garage available, small cars recommended. Staff not informed but polite, large cold Restaurant. Food very good, a contrast to the hotel

Great friendly staff check in was efficient and fast. nice big rooms with plenty of room rooms are modern. Good location close to everything room was spotless. shops and restaurants all close by close to station

Staff very friendly. Left luggage room for free, useful for train travelers. Excellent breakfast very comprehensive with continental and English Swedish food. Location intermediate between station and city center. Beds very comfortable.

During our riadtrip through the South of Sweden we stayed two nights in this hotel. We had a good stay here. Friendly staaf a nice room with a very good shower. Breakfast was one of the best we eve had in an hotel.

Good hotel in the center of Falun, Sweden. Near to almost everything you need, i.e. shoping and restaurants. Just under two kilometers to the famous mine, Falu koppargruva. It is possible to walk there.

Really nice hotel, very centrally located. Clean room. Great breakfast (including local specials). The staff was very helpful both when it came to hotel services and sightseeing tips (got great suggestions from a young lady in the evening of June 11, 2023). Highly recommended.

Good arrival - area directly near the Hotel - realistic parcing fee. Attractions of the town nearby in walking-distances. Comfortable Check-in and Check-out also with great suitcases. Minimal loudness in the night. You can sleep with open windows.
