My family and I appreciated the simple, clean and peaceful environment. The staff was interactive and helpful. A pillow that was accidentally left behind was put aside and we were called about it. It was held until we returned to pick it up. We’re grateful for the price point of our room with 2 queens.

The hotel is pretty good. The rooms are definitely not updated, but pretty clean. I liked that our window opened so we could have fresh air. This is a good location for after your day in ***s Mills. The pool is a good size and they have a hot tub. It was very busy the night we stayed, but it was a fun group of people. Lots of families and kids were playing well together. I'd recommend it and stay again. There is no elevator, so if you need accommodations, you'll want to pay attention to room type when you book.

Everyplace around the area was either booked or very high priced due to being a weekend. Decided to stay in Boscobel since it was just as close to our destination on Saturday as anywhere closer to Prairie du Chien. Great stay including cleanliness of the facility to the comfort of the room we had. Nice dark shade added onto black out curtains which was nice. Very busy in the morning with a LOT of kids, but the man attending the motel was in total charge and was able to keep up with the busyness of the morning breakfast time. Not enough room to sit so had to take our breakfast back to our room, but not a big deal. Room was quieter, anyway. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

No elevator but the gentleman that checked us in was very kind & carried our luggage upstairs for us.

No elevator! Had to carry everything up and down the stairs. Very small TV - not a big deal. WiFi was hokey. It worked in the evening using AmericInn w/o a password but next morning it wouldn't work and had to call the front desk and they said to use a different wifi and gave me the password. Finally got connected. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were not at all good. I couldn't eat them so switched to cold cereal. I think the scrambled eggs were not real eggs - some kind of imitation junk. Just average overall. Not sure how they get high ratings which is why I selected them.

The sign said that a clerk was on duty and to ring the bell but no one showed up for nearly an hour to check me in.

the bed was so comfy i tried to find out the brand of mattress on it. it had a full mattress cover on it,

Nice quiet hotel. Good for families with young kids. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly. Pool is great! The rooms could stand some facelifts. Time for new pillows and blankets.

Front desk staff was very helpful when our rooms needed to be changed! They figured it all out before we arrived. Thank you so much, ladies .
