Travel just minutes to many trailheads for hiking and biking, or bring your kayak for a day on the river. Check out local restaurants in the historic village of Peninsula, just 4 miles to our north. Hop on your bike and take the Towpath Trail as far north as Cleveland or south to Akron. Enjoy local restaurants, breweries, farm markets and more!We're a half-mile from the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail, great for biking to local destinations to the north and south. Free parking is available at many trailheads in the National Park. Street parking in the Village of Peninsula is paid via phone. Ride sharing availability can be limited, so we recommend planning your own transportation. Walking to Blossom Music Center is neither practical nor recommended. We use security cameras to monitor our driveway; there are no recording devices of any kind inside or pointed directly at any living space.This cabin is self check-in with parking available on site.If you are traveling with two vehicles, please park the second one in the large lot next to the office located in the large brick building. Use of the relaxing living room on main floor with loveseat, sofa, & 50" Smart TV, adjacent to the fully stocked kitchen. The entire 2nd floor, additional bedroom on the first floor, and garage will not be accessible with this reservation unless prior arrangements are made.
