オセアニア ル コンィ ブレスト(Oceania le Conti)

Le Conti is a great hotel, spa and restaurant right in the centre of Brest. The quality of the services is second to none and the lovely Art Déco style really brings out the charm of the place. The restaurant offers great cocktails and food, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I go on vacation in Brest.

This Flagship of the Oceania Hotels brand went through a thoroughly refurbishing and even more. The old style Art Deco of the Continental had some character but was somewhat out of date. Huge remodelling, transforming the bedrooms with more comfort and more space, brand new bathrooms, almost perfect except a real lack of room for hanging or dressing, the option of the designer was clearly to target the business travellers and short stays or overnight customers. Fortunately, they kept the Art Deco style in the stairways and the Hallways, hélas they added some ugly and old fashioned style king of muli-seating round chairs that look like a fly in the milk. Alos they kept the old painting from the famous Buffet painter, but I suppose those are copies ...? Also the central heating was deficient that day. The brand new small but pleasant and modern swimming pool is an asset with its spa and sauna, and bath robes are provided in the rooms, as well as bath suits are available to buy at the pool. Except some little disagreements that should be fixed easily this is a signature hotel in Brest and perfect location, walking distance from the railways station, from the City Hall, from the famous rue de Siam - Siam street - leading to the Navy Harbour and the Antic Castle.

Wonderful hotel, the staff goes above and beyond and is incredibly professional. Stayed on the 6th floor and loved it! I ate the best oysters I ever had in my life at their restaurant downstairs. Very nice breakfast too. Will go back for sure!

This does appear to have once been a grand hotel, but it has since been neglected. While the entrance area and staircase still look impressive, the room was in poor repair, with a dated 1980s/90s feel. However, it was spacious, with a Nespresso coffee machine and two BBC English channels. The breakfast room was grim and the food average. Overall, too expensive for the poor quality. The hotel desperately needs money spending on it.

Do not live up to the standard of a 4 stars hotel. Bed and furnitures was awful and needed to be changed. No minibar, no safe in the room. We don´t get the room type we had booked and with a view to a back yard. Vacum cleener left outside our door for several days so it was difficult to pass by.

Booked online and exactly as described. Receptionist was friendly and advised on a map with regard to free street parking. The bedroom was large and had a bath on the first floor with a small balcony overlooking a quiet square . Excellent for all facilities being located in the centre of town. Good sized bed and comfortable very quiet at night would recommend.

personnel très aimable mais pas assez nombreux pour faire le travail les chambres sont très confortables nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu la chance de voir la piscine qui était fermée
