Fantastic stay with friends when visiting Brighton for the night. Beautiful boutique rooms, comfy beds, great bar, super friendly staff, amazing breakfast and great value for money. Definitely be back and is now our go to Brighton hotel.

A lovely stay - really comfortable and spacious room, lovely food and extremely accommodating staff. Very convenient location for the seafront and Brighton’s many attractions. The bar is clearly a thriving hub for local musicians and although we didn’t eat here in the evening the menu looked great.

Stayed here for one night. Room was lovely, really nicely done and breakfast was fantastic. Loads of choice There was an open mike night as well which was really nice in The pub below. Pub also lovely Would recommend to stay here over the larger hotels in the area

I loved this place ! The staff are amazing, the atmosphere is great. The rooms are sumptuous and chic with fabulous bathrooms and s one have sea views! The best ! Great value too! So relaxing and the food is delicious . There is as cocktail bar and the bar itself has live music

We visited the Southern Belle for our gang Christmas dinner. It’s no mean feat to serve 17 adults and 6 children ranging in age from 6-10. They pulled it off though. The food was delicious and the private cocktail bar was perfect to make us feel like we were in our own little Christmas world. We loved it. The kids were free to play without annoying any strangers and the grown ups were able to let their hair down and really relax. We had such a lovely time. Thank you so much for having us ❤️😘

Booked a table for Sunday lunch with family. Given a seat in the window on swivel high stools which wasn’t sure about … not great for the back! Service was excellent although we wasn’t asked if we would like more drinks or desserts at any point. The atmosphere was Christmassy and soon filled up in the bar area. Dog friendly pub and there were lots of them. Good plate of food, nice roast potatoes and Yorkshires, unfortunately my beef was very chewy but my husband said his was fine. Despite the few points mentioned I would recommend and return again.

Lovely welcome , comfortable clean beautifully decorated, room with great facilities including coffee maker , ice bucket , biscuits.. Comfortable bed and then a delicious breakfast in the morning In a quiet location , close enough to main attractions

Had a roast last Sunday and it was incredible. My partner had Chicken, I had pork which I seldom do as very few places can do it well but I was not disappointed. It was soooo good and the crackling was insanely tasty. Great variety of veg which included Cauliflower cheese & celeriac puree. (we got extra Pigs in blankets which came in their own gravy, delicious!) Excellent service as always, efficient and friendly and the place looks amazing now, the owners have done a great job!! Highly recommend. 5*

Great small friendly hotel above a proper buzzy pub. Very nice rooms, super friendly staff from start to finish, great breakfast and decent value. We’ve stayed in lots of Brighton and Hove hotels, big and small, and this is really the only one we’ll come back to. Thank you!!!
