That’s not a problem if that’s what you like but a little more friendly/warmth would of were nice. No one asked how our stay was when we left. Otherwise another lovely stay at this hotel.
Great location and beautiful architecturally designed hotel. Was here for the pride march which passed the hotel. Staff were really helpful especially the new employee from New Zealand.
Incredible staff. That’s the first thing to stay, they really make the difference. The hotel itself is very on trend, you get a free cocktail on arrival, and the breakfast which isn’t expensive, is good. The room is very comfy and well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the shower room, although small, was more than adequate. It’s all about the staff though, incredible service.
We stayed here as a family on a short break, the family room sleeping 3 was lovely with a double and single bed in one room with a spacious bathroom. Only small negative is the room gets a bit hot and we needed to have the window open at all times but that opened on to the main street above a pub so you do get regular noise. We managed with this but it might bother others. The parking is in a public free parking space with limited numbers, it’s tight but we got a space each night. The pub was great to go for a drink and a meal with plenty of seating options
Lladyshire22The hotel is perfectly situated in Bristol and everything in walking distance or scooter if you wish.
Rooms very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a harbour view room which has fab views. I would imagine there isn't a bad view from the Radisson. The hotel will validate your parking if using Nelson St ncp which gives £5 off. Please note that its also £9 per day if your vehicle travels within the new CAZ restrictions. Either pay beforehand or up to 6 days later or face a fine! Or park out of city and park and ride in or train. Also NCP parking is not the cheapest either, again check all extra charges before travelling to Bristol.
The booking process and info before checking in was pretty good. Parking was steep though at £20 per night. The actual place was average with some things a bit outdated. The bed was really comfy. Three things I was really disappointed about which would make me not want to stay here again: 1. the deposit was not taken separately to the rest of the payment. So I am now waiting for a refund of that rather than simply them taking it off my available funds and placing it back again. The £250 deposit alone would make me reluctant to book again. 2. The TV didn't work properly. Terrestrial was fine but when I logged into itv this didnt work at all and just kept freezing etc. 3. When I woke up I found live bugs in the kitchen sink...kind of like some sort of earwig type thing but I'm not entirely sure. Glad they weren't there when I arrived because I would have been put off staying. I am wholly worried they are going to try and get away with not giving me my deposit back for some reason even though I left the place entirely as I found it.
