Brilliant location right next door to the Christmas Market. Spacious rooms, and beautiful art décor throughout. Homemade breakfast was also to be remembered. We had a brilliant stay and the host was very welcoming

Amazing stay!!! The building is wow!!! Location amazing right next to Christmas markets just perfect, the bedding and decor is just stunning and original the art work was beautiful!! Alex is so helpful and friendly and such a wonderful host Breakfast in the most beautiful kitchen was amazing

We had such a wonderful stay at the property . Such a lovely room in a beautiful house, Alex is a genial host and wonderful hospitality. Real relaxing and quiet yet close to all the sights and great food places. We will be back.

This B&B is situated into a refurbished building. It has 6 rooms. Ours was “La 2”: very nicely furnished and very big, clean. Breakfast is served into one kitchen with one social table for all the guests of the B&B. Variety is ok, but nothing “wow”. Pain ai chocolate and croissants are fresh. Regarding the hospitality, I’d say it could be improved, but perhaps it’s just the Belgian culture… Overall rate: 6/10.

The Fishmarket B&B is well located, only a few minutes walk from the main shopping area in Brussels and the busy restaurants that are intertwined. We walked through the ethnically diverse neighbourhoods between the hotel and Brussels Midi station, (about 30 minutes) the main station and terminal from London and stopped off for a strong coffee in a Morocco coffee shop. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the owner, Alex couldn’t have been more helpful. There is a good choice at the continental breakfast and the honesty box for drinks in the living room topped off the welcoming experience.

My SO and I booked this through Chase UR for a day trip to Brussels. The hotel appeared ideal based on photos and proximity to the Old Town. We were searching for spots in the high budget to mid-range (200-300 USD value), of which there are oddly not many in the city.- yet as it would be, the value of this hotel unequivocally exceeded any of our expectations. SO joked that we might not even bother to leave the hotel and explore the rest of Brussels- it was that comfortable! Our room was the Deluxe Double Room (Chambre Balcon) on the second floor which overlooked the street corner with views down to the historic square. The room was large, comforting and well-lit. The bathroom was clean and the space appeared well-attended. Manager Alex reached out to us the day prior in order to arrange a tour and key pickup. On our arrival, Alex (who is multilingual) greeted us and was incredibly pleasant to interact with. I would book a hotel for his services alone, which included a complementary breakfast catered to our request and an impeccably well-curated selection of local culinary and entertainment attractions within walking distance. He also provided his contact information and pledged to remain available for us if we ever needed anything. This added level of security was comforting for our peace of mind as international travelers. Speaking of well-curated, evidently the hotel is decorated by a professional eye. Beautiful, tasteful modern and contemporary works adorned every space (including a signed Keith Haring in the bathroom) and the furnishing was even moreso compelling. The amenities also include a fitness center with a sauna, a smoke room (my SO and I do not smoke, however, we found it very well ventilated), and a state-of-the-art communal kitchen. (I am not kidding- this kitchen has everything: sunk-in counter wine cooler, restaurant-grade stovetop with a wok burner, and even an autoclave.) Off the kitchen is an impressive outdoor porch area with a grill, bedded apple trees (a nice touch), and enough seating for a large party. The hotel itself is small, individually owned, and has around 4-5 other rooms; all were empty for our stay, so we really had the place to ourselves. We imagine it would be the perfect spot for a larger rendezvous with family and friends staying in several rooms. Regardless, if we find ourselves ever in Brussels again, we will return! Cannot more highly recommend!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo posto meraviglioso, arredato con gusto e veramente pulito. È collocato a pochi passi dal centro e da altre attrazioni. Alex ci ha accolti con gentilezza e, oltre a metterci a disposizione una lista di ristoranti tipici con specialità della zona, ci ha fornito una colazione gustosa nella cucina spaziosa che offre la struttura. Camere grandi, pulite e letto comodo. Consigliatissimo!

Séjour agréable avec option petit déjeuner à la hauteur de nos attentes...très bon accueil par notre hôte, très serviable. Nous recommandons cet établissement.
