I loved my stay here its a very romantic athomsphere and the staff were extremely helpful and polite ! Would definetly come back soon x

Sadly, I cannot recommend this place. I ended up at Scala because they missmanaged my reservation in one of their other hotels, and had to transfer me. And yet - Fridge - didn't work - Bathrobe - ripped. Phone - didn't work. I became frustrated and wrote to the management. No reply by the end of the next day. I eventually met the manager, who informed me she hadn't replied because she was too busy. Then blamed, in many words, the cleaning people and the laundry service. Right before I left, the lady at the reception desk informed me what degree she has, how she's from a noble family, asked me what better hotels are in my country. The place has history and in my opinion should be better respected. But they seemed to me sort of too-well-aware of their number of stars.

Spots on the bathtub, fridge not functional, phone disconected - I suspect they don't even use that room regularly. Very poor behavior from the lady at the reception desk and from the owner of the place - as she proudly presented herself while blaming her own employees for everything. Not sure why the self-entitlement when the place was more pretentious than clean and comfortable.

Older multi-storey house converted to a hotel. Central location, only 15 minutes walk from the Old Town. Many squeaky stairs, no lift. Period furniture charming, period plumbing not so much. Room large, bed good, bathroom old fashioned. Hot water takes minutes to arrive at second storey, shower leaks, sink has only hot tap, but bath provided. Minibar fridge but no kettle provided. “Thermo-electric” equipment not allowed in room. Day staff professional and helpful. Night staff useless except for napping on couch or playing video games. Breakfast provided down stairs. Nice setting, but selection perhaps aimed at limited clientele. Consequently some items appeared past their use by date. Not up to four star standard. Parking available inside the gate of the hotel, but very limited space (max 3 cars).

Fantastic and beautiful with clean and comfortable rooms. Location is a off the main street and a short walk to the old town but this means the noise outside is kept to a minimum. Close to the hotel is a Brewery tap room belonging to Hop Hooligans. So if craft beer is your thing its worth a visit. Old town is 10 minutes or so away and in the other direction are some other good bars and restaurants. Parking can be a bit of a thing but finding a space on the streets outside shouldn't be too difficult. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stuff was fantastic, very helpful ans kind. Bed was a little uncomfortable for me.

Lovely vintage hotel… just in a sketchy looking neighborhood. No elevators so not easily accessible. Poor wifi.

Hotel has a beautiful old décor that is both charming and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful while the hotel itself is perfectly located. A short walk to the old town for bars and restaurants but not too close as to make other options too far of a journey.

The hotel was perfect. Conveniently located and the staff was incredible. We really felt at home here and loved the rooms and felt safe.
