ブナケン ダイバーズ シー ブリーズ リゾート(Bunaken Divers Sea Breeze Resort)

I haven't dived regularly for more than 20 years and my last dive was 15 years ago. Terry took me on a refresher course and went through all the skills with me again, giving me great tips on addressing issues such as mask-clearing etc and making sure I was ready/confident to go into the waters again. For the 3 days I was diving, Terry paired me up with his Dive guides Jeff and Mickey who were great as they showed me great stuff in the reef/amongst the corals and constantly made sure I was ok. The room was clean and comfortable (no mosquitos) and the food ample and delicious (Indonesian) . But don't expect this to be a luxury resort which Seabreeze does not claim to be. Service is good, fast and friendly - transfer arrangement between airport and the resort was all arranged by Terry and very smooth. Terry is also a very friendly chap who tells great stories during meal times. On the day of my departure from the island, the ferry service was disrupted due to waves at Manado marina but Terry was able to arrange for the boat to drop me at another part of Manado and arrange land transport from there. Will definitely stay/dive with them again if I go back to Manado!

Right from the get go, Terry answered all my questions quickly and in detail and made arrangements for our smooth transfer from the mainland to Bunaken. We stayed for 5 nights and did 12 dives. The corals are amazing at any depth and we saw at least 10 turtles on every dive! We did not have to lift a finger to do anything at all except jump into the water when the guides told us to. The crew ensured that the sites were appropriate for everyone's skill level and worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best possible time. We had 3 delicious meals every day. Do request for the sambal if you like spicy food! If you're lucky, you may even get serenaded by Jeff and Mickey, who are excellent dive guides AND musicians. At the end of my stay, Terry even arranged for the captain of the public ferry to escort me to the pier for journey back to Manado. Great diving, great food, great staff and great company - I would gladly dive again with Bunaken Divers!

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine sur l'île de Bunaken, le resort est idéalement situé en bord de mer. Les bungalow ont la plupart vu sur mer, il comprends une moustiquaire, un ventillateur, un nécessaire de toilettes. Le petit point négatif est que l'eau du robinet est salé et que nous ne pouvons pas choisir la température mais etant donné la chaleur extérieure ce n'est pas réellement dérangeant. Juste au pied de l'hôtel, le snorkeling est directement accessible. Le propriétaire des lieux propose tous les jours des plongées sous marine. Les trois repas de la journée sont compris, il s'agit d'un buffet avec plusieurs choix à chaque fois plutôt bon. L'ensemble du personnel est disponible et souriant.
