Hotel was fine, food was poor in the restaurant, would stay again just not eat from the hotel

Lovely place, no air conditioning, not even a fan. Room was to hot had to try and sleep with a wet towel over me. Overall a nice place to stay.

Staff were excellent very helpful. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from. Bed was a small double. The full length mirror was too far from the dressing table so hairdryer would not reach to mirror. This was the only mirror in the room you need an extension lead as no plug near the mirror.

Booking in staff not helpful no info given to me when they finally finished talking about there private life and booked me in, the bathroom wasnt fully cleaned ,the breakfast was a farce waiting for each dish as it ran out , under staffed,and to top it all i wasnt given the room i paid extra for awaiting a reply from hotel and head office for a refund on my room option i will not be using this company again

Comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Very pleased with the service we received.

Really nice hotel: large room with comfortable bed and a very good shower. Friendly reception. Comments: the entrance gate is not obvious as instead of the hotel sign it says "authorised vehicles only". The same sign is all over the car park but you are authorised as soon as you have registered your car at reception so ignore it!

Breakfast was £12 however this was in short supply. Front desk staff could be friendlier.

Terrible hotel. The room was not clean and was smelly. The staff were rude and unhelpful.

This was recommended due to us attending a friend's wedding in Bury St Edmunds .It was easy to get too & was plenty of parking. We arrived at 1pm but could not access our room, which was ready, until 2pm. We were told there was an extra charge of £10 to have access before 2pm, which we did not do. It is within walking distance of Bury town centre & a taxi cost around £8. Not impressed with the breakfast, there was no bacon left & the rest was just about warm. Could see no staff to ask. The table had also not been cleaned, it was covered in crumbs & was all sticky with what looked like where glasses had been the night before. The interior is a bit dated, but the room was adequate for our 2 night stay. Was very noisy on the first night with inconsiderate people banging doors in the early hours & having TV very loud, solved with earplugs. Not sure I would stay there again.

Heavy rain, so got soaked as car park is away from the main entrance. TV had lines across the screen. Noisy with banging doors etc.

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Very comfy room. Quiet and peaceful.
