Bonito hotel situado en zona tranquila.

By our standards this hotel was very expensive - the “free” spa and trea**ent that we do not use just added to the cost. We would have preferred a lower rate. Having said that the hotel was comfortable and the food was well prepared and of good quality. The hotel is set in its own grounds with swimming pool (in summer). The room was large and well equipped (no complaints there) a despite the cost we would recommend as a place to stay while exploring Cacares.

Just a fabulous place. Beautiful building and super bedrooms. Staff were really helpful and the food was gorgeous. Close to the motorway so easy to access and lots of free parking. Been to lots of places and this place is up there with the very best. E we I’ll certainly return.

Our room was beautiful. The car charging was very welcome. However, as vegetarians we were very let down in the restaurant. The advertised veggie options featured a couple of starters and no main courses. We were offered a plate of grilled veg. Not what us expected in a hotel of this quality.

Good place to be in if staying overnight to visit Caceres. This property is well maintained and clean, while the staff are polite and friendly (I found staff members in the breakfast room particularly welcoming). There is a surrounding garden area I enjoyed walking around for early morning strolls, inclusive of a series of interesting stork nests: the rural setting around this hotel is peaceful and tranquil.

The hotel has a delightful ambience. Set in open country with livestock and storks for company it provides a lovely retreat from the close, but not heard, north/south motorway. We chose it for its convenience as a stop over journeying south through Spain. Dinner was a treat and the breakfast offered a wide choice to suit all tastes and including such things as branded cereals with cooked options too which isn't always the case in Spain. The bacon and eggs were really tasty. Would definitly visit again.

Our 2nd visit to this hotel....the location is on the outskirts of Caceres but good access to the main roads and for touring the National Park close by! The twin room was spacious and with ensuite facilities, clean and comfortable! Parking can be underground with an extra charge or outside parking for free - some steps to negotiate! Staff were friendly and helpful with getting luggage to the room. The biggest major change was the new swimming pool and pool side restaurant!!! What a surprise! This gives choices to where you can eat without leaving the hotel. The hotel has a Spa but we did not visit this time! We chose to eat both nights at the new poolside restaurant as we could take our dog...the choices were interesting and the waiters, who spoke no English at all, were helpful and very jolly! One night there was a pianist!!! The tables overlook the pool and was lovely all lit up at night! Again we had lovely warm weather. All very enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent and again had outside seating....the waitress was very helpful, cheerful and friendly! We would stay again !!

Wonderful luxury hotel, especially after a long drive after touring northern Spain. We got a deal which included a one hour visit to the spa for both of us and that was an amazing treat. It is out of town but a taxi in is about €12. Big plus was also a normal outside parking space.
