Great central location. Very quiet rooms, with kettle. Extremely good breakfast. Staff English speaking. Very helpful with advice. Left luggage service. A few stairs needed to access lift. TV in room s but English services such as BBC did not work (though probably no need for a tv!)
I would highly recommend Hotel Italia. The rooms are pretty plain and simple , but clean and the bathroom has an excellent shower and modern fittings. The air conditioning worked really well and there is a fridge stocked with a few free drinks which was nice. Some of the rooms have balconies. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and only paper cups to drink from. The breakfast room/bar is nice and light and spacious and there is a lovely terrace area to sit outside. It was a bid odd that the terrace is closed between 10.30am and 12 noon, but the rest of the time it is open and we enjoyed a few cocktails there. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is really central. It is on a pedestrianised street so no traffic noise, we were on the 4th floor so well away from any street noise at all. Our only disappointment was the quality of the breakfast. Hot water and black coffee are put out in large silver urns at 7am with no insulation or heating, so by around 9am they are tepid. Consequently everyone was ordering fresh drinks from the coffee machine at the bar, which are great and for no extra charge, however it meant that one of the 2 breakfast staff was fully occupied making hot drinks. Therefore food on the buffet was frequently running out and not replenished. The choice on the buffet was quite poor. It would have been lovely to have some fresh, sliced tomatoes and also better quality bread. The pineapple being served was almost rotten. The cakes looked good. One of our party was Vegan and all they could offer was some gluten free cakes, dry crackers and bread. As we hadn’t made them aware beforehand of this, we hoped that once they were aware they may have provided something better the next days, but unfortunately not. Despite breakfast, I would still recommend this hotel for an excellent value stay in Cagliari! De
This is a unique boutique hotel experience. The concept is a great one for artist lovers and those who crave something distinctive while across from the Port in Cagliari. Our room was stunningly decorated and a treat to come to. HOWEVER, it was unbearably small. I would recommend that you consider the largest room available. We had little room for our luggage and had to climb over things to get to the other side of the room. We are small statured people and it was still a struggle. The hotel is green conscious. Had great food, and the best coffee on the island. If you require dependable WiFi and internet, DO NOT STAY HERE. The connection dropped throughout our 5 day stay and on our last evening, the power went out for the entire evening, over a 12 hour period. For about 5 hours, the power came on and off, but kept kicking off. We were never provided with an explanation for it, just that our side of the building was affected and that they were looking into the situation. At 12 midnight, I demanded an explanation, and the staff person basically said that they were told the matter would be fixed by the city centre by 9PM BUT by midnight there was nothing that could be done according to the staff. By 9PM there was NO POWER to us until approximately 7AM and nothing was offered to us to make up for the situation. I asked for a refund for the evening but the working staff refused to accommodate us, they had no authority to follow through with anything. We had prepaid through our travel agent, who now tells us that we needed to deal with the hotel directly. Our time on Sardinia was a lovely dream come true, HOWEVER, this last night has left a real sour experience to our holiday.
Lovely quiet boutique-style hotel that had amazing service. The staff were friendly, attentive , helpful and treated us superbly throughout our stay. I have stayed in numerous hotels throughout the world - this was by far the best in terms of how helpful and friendly they were. Made us feel very welcome. A special thanks to Marco for being so accommodating to our room requests and organising welcome drinks and snacks. The location itself is about ten/fifteen minutes away from the main restaurants and shops. You have to walk about half an hour to see the main sites - wear trainers / comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking and doing this in 30 degrees heat can be difficult if you’re not used to the weather.
The hotel is a beautiful design and the staff were absolutely amazing! Location was perfect as well beside the harbour and easy the main parts of the city. Rooms were a great size and lots of nice touches. The only real negative would be the pool area being quite small and limited pool chairs maybe 12-14 total. My wife and I were a tad itchy from the pool as well not sure what from. The inside of restaurant was unfortunately reserved the 3 nights we were there for weddings. we were able to sit outside for dinner but we did have some rain. The food though was absolutely phenomenal with neat creations and lovely desert ! 4.7/5 would be our review score and would stay again
Nicely appointed hotel. Huge TV showing satellite channels and Netflix which was a nice bonus. Out of town but we were just using as a base for the start of a road trip. Free parking and breakfast was ok. Staff attentive. Seemed more of a business hotel but it was fine for us. Definitely needed a car. We did walk to a local shopping mall but it was a fair way.

WOW, Fantastic, charming, welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, smiling, people who really enjoy their work and therefore make the client feel so at home. The hotel could have been a rundown rabbit hutch and it still would have felt great - but it isn”t. It's a cleverly designed, modern small hotel, each room (from what I saw) individually decorated but all following the same clean lines, very comfortable and calming neutral colours. Obviously the sea view rooms have the best views. Breakfast was delicious with a good varied menu and the hot course made on the spot. All in all a really delightful stay and it's ideally located right at the end of the Via Roma, 10 minutes from the train and bus stations. Grazie mille Eleonora, Angelo and Luca (Mattia in absentia) and of course the young ”breakfast” ladies.
Llyns711Amazing stay at this hotel on our first visit to Sardinia! The staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming during our stay and always very happy to assist us. Rooms were cleaned to perfection, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a couple of relaxing bike rides along the promenade! Bus route is also excellent to the centre as taxis are few and far between. We cannot wait to return!
Bbluebell549The location is great for exploring Sardinia. The train station is very close as is the port. The trains are electric so there is no noise. A trolley/train tour is only a few blocks away as is the seaport. The community kitchen is a bonus and the terrace off it is perfect for a coffee and pastry in the morning sunshine--or an afternoon cocktail. The hotel room was spacious. Designed for business travellers with worktable and lighting, it worked well for us. Lovely bathroom. Hot water and good water pressure. Using the antiquated elevator was fun. We were given check-in instructions on WhatsApp and they worked as suggested except that we did not know which door was to our hallway when the elevator stopped. It is to the left but easily concluded when the key didn't work on the other door. There is a button to push when trying to leave the accommodations hallway and the front exit. We figured it out. There was no way to heat food in the community kitchen during our visit, but it appears the hotel is working on correcting that. We had our own shelf in the refrigerator and there were no issues with that. The beds were great; lighting was good; clean and comfortable. We liked the layout and concept of the hotel. Our only complaint was that there was no safe is in the room. We borrowed an extra chair from the kitchen as there was only one chair in the room and we both wanted to sit by our window. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the Central Caffe on a nearby corner. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee and pastry places, and wine bars on nearby streets or farther down on Via Roma. We ate at the Caffe Roma and the Cafe Bistrot. Most have outside tables. With a day left before departing, we hopped a morning train and took a chance to relax and view the countryside and eat lunch in another town. Spaceability City has other properties and we are interested in trying those as well. We would definitely return.
MMallo_PahanenThe hotel is very well located in the old center of the city. All services are nearby, as well as good transport connections to the train station and the airport. The hotel is not suitable for people with reduced mobility because there are steep stairs. The apartments themselves are relatively spacious and functional. The downside was, at least in our room, that there was no window except for the stairwell. There was something wrong with the air conditioner in the room and it was really hot in the room. The bed was quite hard and the pillow was not bad. The fridge did not cool at all. On the other hand, the shower was really good and the bathroom spacious. The hotel didn't really have other services, but really all services are really close. However, I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cagliari.
