Hotel Rocamarina

I really enjoyed my stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It is well positioned in a quiet location, though a little distance from the centre. Clean comfortable rooms cleaned every day. The food buffet was amazing! Something for everyone’s taste and diet, the Maitre’D was particularly helpful and friendly. Half board was really good value. Whilst it’s not something I would usually be interested in, the evening entertainment was really professional. Prior to arrival they arranged a mobility scooter for me, which I needed as it’s quite a hilly area. All in all a first class experience. Thank you all of the staff.

We visited Hotel Rocamarina, as a couple, from 6th to 13th May 2024. This was our fourth stay over the last 12 years, we stayed on a half board basis, in a standard, twin room. We were delighted to see there has been very little change since our last visit, making the Rocamarina an excellent choice of hotel for adults wishing to enjoy a peaceful break, with delicious food, good service and superb cleanliness. The well maintained, interior decorations and furnishings were the same, with fine white linen on the dining room tables at both meal times. A taste of luxury these days when paper napkins and unstable, canteen style tables are the norm. It will be a sad day if the hotel management ever decide to refurbish the hotel. We were allocated a quiet room, at our request, it over looked the internal garden and was perfect for us. It did get a little sun, early in the morning but that’s all. We had an issue with the safe at the start but it was speedily sorted by the technician within the hour. The use of the safe is free. As previously mentioned, nothing has changed in the standard twin bedroom we had, apart from the new furnishings. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard daily. There are plenty of electrical sockets, clothes hangers, drawers, toiletries and the tea/coffee making facilities are replenished daily. The wall mounted tv has a variety of channels in Spanish, English, German. On the subject of TVs, we were disappointed to see the huge tv in the tv room was not working. We asked if we were able to view some football on Sky as in previous stays but were advised it was no longer available. There were a couple of bars not too far away that showed football matches and other sports but always busy. There is a good selection of food provided at meal times. It is of a good quality with much of it being homemade or home grown from the hotel owner’s farm. The breads, pastries and preserves are the best I’ve ever tasted. The service in the restaurant is impeccable. We did use the pool bar at lunch time a couple of times and were happy with the prices, food quality and service. The evening entertainment was generally good, some acts better than others but then we all have different tastes. The drinks prices were slightly more than you would pay in a bar in town but that would be expected. There is no longer entertainment provided during the day which suited us. The hotel now has a more quiet ambience than when it was once a TUI Gold hotel with bingo, quizzes and games. Some daytime noise does come from a neighbouring hotel that seems fit to induce their clientele into an hysterical frenzy! This is usually in the afternoon. The pool, which we used daily was clean and of a good temperature, the sun beds were in a good condition and comfortable and the pool towels are provided free of charge. The hotel is very clean. Staff very friendly. The food is nice but not very hot and slightly repetitive as we stayed 11 days The bathroom/shower very good. Always hot water. Leaned every day and fresh towels. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for clothes. Room a very good size. Balcony good size with table and chairs The only issue we had was the bed was very hard and very uncomfortable for us to sleep The pool area is spacious and there were never any problems getting a sun bed Please note you cannot access the pool/sun bathing areas until 9 am which we felt was a bit late as we are early risers Also, breakfast was 8 am to 10 am. We would have preferred it earlier Located within easy access of small beach, shops and bars/restaurants As we were HB we didn’t eat out but did have a few drinks at local bars The marina is close by, easy to walk to

The Rocamarina hotel was spotless the reception staff were the best, always on hand to offer help in any way needed. The bar area was well equipped for any drink imaginable this hotel even had waiters willing to serve you at your table with drinks (so no queuing at the bar). All public spaces were all well lit and spotlessly clean, bedrooms were spacious clean and super well maintained, beds were firm but that’s the way I like them. Finally I come onto the restaurant which is the jewel in the crown for this hotel as the food was spectacular we were half board breakfasts were plentiful and hot, evening meal was beautiful several courses to choose from and the food was piping hot.

This was our first visit to the Rocamarina, it’s a really friendly and happy hotel. The staff are brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make your holiday a good one, especially in the restaurant. There was a good variety of food for breakfast and dinner. The rooms and all the hotel and its surroundings were spotless and comfortable. Will definitely be going back again at some point. All in all we had a really lovely relaxing holiday.

Fantastic 4* star hotel from start to finish with excellent warm staff and spotlessly clean interior. Close by the beautiful and small Cala des Pou beach which also boasts a wonderful beach bar serving excellent drinks and food. The hotel is in a quiet and upmarket residential location , but an easy and short walk to shops and restaurants. Definitely an upmarket hotel in the sort after Es Forti area.

To be honest, I had such an enjoyable stay at the Rocamarina, I can't make any criticism whatsoever. Lovely staff, good food, comfortable room, entertainment low key, pure relaxation. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, but there are good public transport links if you need them.

I booked this holiday in February and thought it maybe a nice spring break but we have been here two days and it’s rained . Not hotels fault. The hotel is very clean very modern better than most English hotels I have stayed in. The staff from the minute we arrived were professional friendly and spoke amazing English . They couldn’t do enough . My aunt is disabled and we had a private transfer booked for us by Tui and the reps made sure we had one back . My aunt was ill one day and tried to eat the evening meal which we had to pay for but she couldn’t eat it because she was ill so they didn’t charge us . I asked for fresh towels and another duvet and this was delivered immediately. I have been to two Tui hotels before this one and I have never had a bad experience with any of them . The reps are always on hand and they are all young but cannot fault amy of them. This is a highly recommended hotel and thank you for a wonderful stay. Would definitely go back

Lovely comfort room,food was excellent and staff were very friendly nice pool and garden area no problem getting a sun bed lovely 3 day break after cruising the Mediterranean, there was a road train which was cheap to hop on and off
