So here is the thing… we could not even get to the hotel ! However very bad experience with the management. My partner and I booked 2 nights from tomorrow at the hotel via Agoda, yesterday our Credit card was fully charged for the entire amount and we were both excited towards our weekend’s getaway. Today’s morning my partner broke his leg severely and we were informed that he will need to wear Gypsum bandage for 6 to 8 weeks. While Agoda refused for any refund or credit, saying they are also a 3rd party, I have called the hotel and explaining them our situation, that we have been already charged, all what we were asking was their extra mile (although they are not obliged to do so) and at least use these 2 nights which we paid for when my partner will get better and will be able to travel. obviously I offered to send all hospital documents from today, however the answer from the hotel manager was no, we can’t do it since you didn’t book it directly from us. So no, you don’t have to do it, however keeping the money showing 0% costumer friendly approach is very disappointing because when there is a will there is a way ! You could just have more human approach, make an effort and then you would have us as your future appreciative loyal guests, only for that.
