The Alt Hotel is great. Second time staying there, and being a newer hotel everything is in amazing condition, clean, and super comfortable. Location is great, pretty much everything you’d need for a stay is within a 5 minute walk. Will definitely be back.

Very clean and neat. Liked the secure elevators. Underground parking was nice, but $20 per night a little steep for non core hotel. Would be nice to have a coffee bar setup in the mornings, say 7 - 11am as they do not have a restaurant yet. Just coffee and tea.

The hotel staff was really great to me and my family the rooms were clean and the space was well used. University district is awesome and is only going to get better.

It was my first time visiting Calgary in a few years and I found the Alt hotel to be perfect. It was very affordable, near lots of food options, tons of parking nearby, good layout for occasional guest with a versatile layout in the main foyer. Great job!

Very new hotel in an area with a lot of restaurants to visit nearby. There is a large mall about a 5-minute drive away as well. Great location with a lot of things within 10-15 min drives away. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome property in an up she coming area of Calgary. Shops to browse in and lots of places to grab a bite. Cineplex in the neighborhood too! The hotel is new and the chain is Canadian owned and sources local products which is fantastic. Very stylish and comfortable room

It was our first stay at this hotel and we found it clean and comfortable and enjoyed the more modern design. It took a little while to get hot water in the shower in the morning but otherwise no major issues. Secure underground parking was nice but there were spots available on the street as well. The staff were courteous and responded promptly to any enquiries. There were a few good eating spots in the immediate vicinity and real close to the Market Mall. Would definitely stay there again!

I liked how modern the facility was and how comfortable the rooms were. What I did not like was that my room had issues with water temperature (did not get hot) and the plug for the bath tub did not work. However, the staff was helpful and provided a new room, however the new room was slightly less well equipped. But still OK. The water and plug in the second room worked fine.
