Pros to the hotel - it’s close to all local amenities and a stones through from the beach. Mon-Thurs the hotel was quiet of an evening and you were able to sleep! That being said we were out a few nites to party and was still quiet when we returned! The weekend however influx of stag parties and the noise was terrible at night and didn’t seem to be policed by hotel staff. Hotel communal areas were clean and breakfast was ok, just ok, cooked breakfast poor choice. Rooms are dated and in need of repair, very old fashioned, with paint peeling off walls etc. balcony very cramped and the deck chairs need to go, very uncomfortable spoke to people who cudnt sit on balcony the whole stay! Over all we wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

The staff were incredibly friendly, but the overall experience was disappointing due to a lack of cleanliness and disturbances from rowdy guests. Despite being described as clean and well-maintained, the rooms did not meet the cleanliness standards expected of a 4-star hotel. Additionally, the rooms seemed in need of improvements.

Just back from another wonderful Stay @Sol House The Studio I honestly can’t recommend this hotel highly enough or put into words the atmosphere within. Rooms great, food fab but the feel good buzz of this hotel is unreal. DJ on all weekend, foam party the list goes on. Can’t wait to get back there in September

Great hotel but.....we booked this months ago direct with Melia through their rewards programme. Asked at the time as we were 3 adults traveling together to have two rooms on same floor at least, ideally next to each other. Also emailed week before our stay. Arrived and we were no less than four floors apart. Now I fully appreciate that it's tricky to manage this but there were several large groups all together and having a solo female put on the ground floor alone wasn't great. We were told to come back next day to enquire. We were told again hotel full and nothing they could do. Then asked when we were leaving and conventially told their would be space they day before we left but then told no point for one day. There were so many people checking out the Sunday I refuse to believe they couldn't have had us closer but reception staff just didn't care. Hotel location and facilities were all great. Staff friendly and breakfast good but a hotel of that size hot having two rooms closer together I don't understand. If tiny Sotavento could do it with 5 rooms last year ....it seems Melia are a chain that's not interested because of their size

Room not ready at 15:00 asked for a free drink while we wait told no. Disgusting it says check in from 15:00 not my fault the room isn't ready. Stayed here 3 times b4 this is worst I've known it. I don't blame reception staff but if the room isn't read should be compensated.

After small research we booked this hotel, closer to leaving we did get the thought ‘oh no, magaluf, we’re almost 30, will we feel old’ absolutely not probably because it’s just before the season kicks in but this hotel was full of every age, younger than us right up to older older people, very friendly reception team, clean rooms, nice pools, music on and a beach club attached which is just down the road, and we booked a pool view which we could also see the beach from. Brilliant location close to everything, as magaulf don’t seem to do all inclusive anymore we were bed and breakfast, buffet style, deffo get an omelette we waited until the last day! Typical. Places you want to go to are happy house (if I’m correct, a small bar on the beach, turn left once you get onto the front past oceans) very cheap, great food & drinks we went every day staff very friendly too .. and the obvious tom browns .. most prices seem to be the same in places anyway We got a taxi from the airport as we hate to wait on a coach and was under €40 each time although major stress on the way back when our taxi didn’t arrive (probs because everyone was just jumping in them outside the hotel) so make sure you get reception to call up, give your room number and leave plenty of time!

Terrible!!! We booked as a fairly cheap getaway so didn’t expect spectacular! But a dirty room! Very unkempt! For a 4star hotel! On approach it looks lovely till you get in your room! None of mine or my friends rooms were very nice! But I can get over that! What I can’t get over is having ants everywhere in my room and after several complaints and being told “housekeeping will fix it they can put stuff down for them” to come back hours later and it still not to be dealt with and still refused to be able to move rooms! Won’t be returning! I have stayed in less star hotels in magaluf and much much higher standards of upkeep and customer service! Appalling!!!

Stayed for 7 nights in July with friends. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The security is strict on the door and no one without a wristband can enter yet so don’t even think about bringing anyone back. Security do nothing about people having party’s and making noise. People run round the hotel banging doors till 9am playing loud music.

So after reading the reviews we were apprehensive about this hotel. We only stayed for 5 days and that was enough. For a short break it is fine but I could not do 2 weeks here. The hotel is very modern in the communal areas. Great mix of people. We have not experienced the noise that other reviewers have commented about. The rooms are very basic and tired. Definitely not even close to 4 star. Damaged fixtures and fittings. Mouldy shower, dirty grouting, just generally below par. The rain shower did not work but the basic shower was fine. The cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. When we got to our room the floors had not been cleaned. There was the remains of someone's fake tanning session all over the toilet that made it look dirty. It doesn't cost much to replace a toilet seat. The cleaners enter your room without knocking. Just basic courtesy. The food in the restaurant is sparse. They are extremely slow to replenish food and there are large queues. The food is basic fare that you would expect in a sol. Overall it was just OK. Staff were friendly although there needs to be more of them. Check in is slow. It has been given a 4 star for amenities in our opinion certainly not through substance or excellence All this said. We would stay again if we were in the area as the hotel is in a good location but its very unlikely we would be back

hotel was so nice and entertaining definitely for younger people very nice staff especially MARIA at the desk love her rooms nice and big with amazing balcony and nice bathroom has 2 pools and u can access beach club breeze which is so stunning

We took a chance on this hotel as it was a great price for this time of year...being a party of family of ladies aged 58, 55. 45 and 25 we were worried we may be too old. The plus to being older and not partying till dawn meant that breakfast and an early morning dip was blissfully quiet. A morning stroll on the nearby beautiful beach was amazing with barely a soul in sight. The hotel and room were clean with comfy beds and plenty of pillows. Hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel provided, a fridge, a safe but not pool towels, however you could pay a 10 euro deposit to get one, which is great if you travelled light using only hand luggage. The food was fantastic, plenty of choice and catered well for anyone with a sweet tooth, but also had meals of fresh salmon, fish, paella and plenty vegetarian options. The downside being having to wait a while for food to be replenished but at least it was then hot and fresh....you got the usual greedy ones piling their plates high unnecessarily! Drinks were provided at breakfast only, I think management should consider providing free water at evening meal as it is rather expensive to buy, although alcohol was a reasonable price. The location was spot on. Just steps away from the beach, near to many bars and shops and near the *****, which we ventured to once but found the drinks over-priced and must have been watered down as the bartender poured what looked like a quadruple measure, yet I didn't feel even slightly tipsy (I'm a lightweight as a rule). The ***** wasn't for us as we went out early for magaluf, but there were plenty of other bars dotted around that catered for the more mature clientele who still like to have a good time...Piano bar was great for a boogie to 80's music and Finnegan's bar was brilliant for live music, karaoke and fun atmosphere. Downside was the immature young lads being silly in the corridors in the early hours, definitely bring ear plugs and I have just read reception provides them. But all in all we had a great time in a stunning location, this was intended as a quick cheap deal away and not my only holiday this year as I usually prefer a place with entertainment and gardens etc...thankyou so much to all the friendly staff for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here in May for 4 nights with a friend,its in a great position with a 2 min walk to the beach and the strip,the hotel has great decor throughout,the room was lovely with nice view from the balcony,lovely staff all very pleasent and friendly.i stayed half board and found the buffet to be nice,good choice of food and desserts.The bar had plenty choice and was reasonably priced with snacks available during the day.i would definitely stay here again.

We only went for 5 days, but wish we booked longer. Hotel was clean, fresh and really spacious. It was a party hotel as there were lights everywhere and always music playing. The pool was nice and fun when there was activities. drinks were amazin. It was in such a good location it was probably not even a 1 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the bottom of the *****. And could get back at any time we wanted. Food was decent but we only had breakfast. Only few downfalls- the aircon in the rooms didn’t work very well so was always boiling. We just ended up leaving the anircon on and tried to nt open the door which did help but not as well as it should’ve. Also i feel like it was advertised to have parties/activities going on all the time, however there was only one DJ the whole time we stayed and pool floaties and etc only came out on the last day which was annoying. But for price, location, the people, i would definitely be back and will be booking this for next year:)

Stayed here 2nd week of October for 7 nights with a friend, the hotel is in such perfect location to the beach, restaurants, bars etc. The beach was the best clear waters, and literally a 2/3 min walk from the hotel which was a need. I had a standard room which was a decent size including a balcony, the bathroom was a perfect size with a lovely shower. I stayed half board and found breakfast amazing best thing waking up for! Had a great selection of everything from savoury to sweet- breakfast was from 8.30-10.30 which was a nice time. Dinner though wasn’t the best just as I found it was mainly the same every night, except from different meats being cooked. Not ideal if you were a fussy eater! Dinner time was from 6.30-11.30, which was a nice if u wanted to go out early or late. I’ve not had to do it before with half board elsewhere but if you wanted a drink with your meal you had to pay for it even water which was €3 PP, which was a shock and you couldn’t bring in your own drinks either which seemed a bit silly. There is quite a few things though that definitely don’t make this hotel a 4* : ONE being there was loads of tomato seeds around the room found on the door frame, ceiling, curtains and window frames that seemed a bit strange. Seemed like our room needed a deep clean. TWO not having fresh bedding on everyday our bedding in our room, only got changed 2 out of 7 days which I find is quite poor as that is bare minimum for a 4* hotel. THREE the hotel seemed like it needed renovation as the ladders by the pool were handing off which was dangerous for H&S reasons, broken floor boards and broken sun beds. The 7 days I was at the hotel I stayed at beach 6/7 days just as the sun beds were all broken, the hotel just needed a whole new load of beds. FOUR: we had no lock on our door, except from when the door shut. It seemed like the door had been jammed or messed about as there was a massive gap between the door and the frame; didn’t really feel secure in the hotel room. Did actually try from the outside whether you could get in or not luckily enough we didn’t. But overall I won’t typically be staying here again.
