I absolutely had a wonderful time on my vacation. The building and grounds are beautiful and the artwork is exquisite. I enjoyed both Katia's warm smile and generosity as well as the other woman who speaks english, but I didn't catch her name. I really loved speaking with her as she has a very strong and kind spirit. I noticed throughout my stay that there is 24hr security on site as I get up randomly throughout the night. When the AC stopped working in my room I was offered a different room with working AC, but I was comfortable in my suite and the night air was good enough to keep me cool until the next morning when they fixed it. I felt very welcomed, safe, and appreciated. They get 5 stars from me.

Pros: Views, staff are good honest people, paintings in many of the spaces. Cons: HUGE cost for key replacements which will get lost in cabs or if you accidentally swim with them or in the sand. We as customers want key cards or keyless safes. Tubs don’t hold water and echo the leak noise. Hot water works less than half the day (at least on the upper floors). Stucco cracking and caulking all dried and poorly done. Decks are weathered with broken boards. None of the tubs work outside and are eye sores. The mattresses are old spring mattresses on stucco platforms. Did I mention the fact that they make money off you losing keys? My stay was nearly 20 percent more because of a safe and door key replacement . I will never return.

Beautiful hotel with lots of art but many things need fixing: one sink that did not open to let water out, a toilet handle that fell (was fixed) air on that stopped working (they changed our room). The staff is not helpful and some (not all) of the staff at the restaurant is just useless. After 45 minutes we were still not served our breakfast for 2 and left just like another lady before us.

Property is kinda old and need general maintenance. Bathrooms need ventilation. However, location is very convenient

Seems the negative reviews focus on the hotel being older and some things not in pristine condition. It's true, some stuff looks a little neglected, but it was right on the beach, quiet, and the staff were all friendly and helpful! Not the glitz and commotion of the nearby all-inclusives but if you just want a simple beach weekend, it's perfect. My personal favorite, no thumping music, just quiet and peaceful.

The worst experience I ever had in my life. First of all there are no clean towels in the hotel. First 24 hours we had to stay without any towels:( Secondly very rude reception. They are not willing to improve their service at all.All our requests were simply refused and instead we got information about extra charges if we will loose a door key( for some reason it’s only 1 for a family), or extra charge if we will not return a beach towels. Everything is super old. Beach area is not organized at all. Beach chairs are completely destroyed. At their restaurant we have been told that there is only 2 small cups of creamer per person and only for a coffee, not for a tea. In the morning of check out we were asked to check out as fast as possible otherwise they will charge extra day of stay ( it was 7.45 in the morning when our check out time is 12 pm). No words. We love Cancun and people here, but definitely not Casa Turquesa!!! Extremely bad experience

The property is very old with old furniture. Didn’t know where to go to get beach towels. We never had hot water during the entire stay. Food was ok. It’s in a good location.
