We stayed in Canmore after a change in our travel plans after the fires in Jasper and we decided to stay self-catering at Stoneridge. The one bed apartment was very well equipped with a gas bbq on the balcony. The communal heated pool and hot tub were good and it was a very short drove to Canmore centre. Great little cafe on site. Canmore is a great base too.

Our family of 6 stayed at the Stoneridge mountain resort for 4 nights. We were in the 2 bedroom 1 queen + 1 king suite and had a great experience. The resort is a short 15-min drive from Banff with easy access to the freeway. The resort is nice and updated, rooms are clean, bright and well maintained. Very nice amenities. Parking garage access was available at no additional charge. The black dog cafe on site is nice too. We had breakfast there a couple of times - very nice breakfast sandwiches and the carrot cake is one of the best we've had. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend the resort while visiting Banff

Unbelievable resort, very nice all round, spacious, comfortable, quiet & very good facilities. For being 20 minutes outside of Banff it’s a must stay at resort for anyone visiting. Extra facilities such as washing machine & tumble dryer came in very handy.

This resort is AMAZING! Our family chose this resort last minute after we had a terrible experience at another resort. Stoneridge happened to have a vacancy that suited us perfectly! Tim was super helpful and so welcoming! The resort is clean and beautiful, and the outdoor pool and hot tub are amazing ... even in the middle of winter! I would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a wonderful mountain experience. The staff and accommodations are top notch! A wonderful place to relax and recharge!

The front desk staff are exceptional people, very accommodating and respectful. Great sense of humour too. All interactions with staff was great. Highly recommend staying here. The rooms are spacious and decor is beautiful just like the view from our room. Couldn't ask for a better weekend getaway with my friends. Will definitely be back real soon.

We loved our 2 night stay here!! Very friendly and helpful staff! Enjoyed the pool and spa. A lovely walk into town (such a lovely town!). Very clean and comfortable apartment! We enjoyed the fireplace as well! Would stay again if ever in delightful Canmore!!

The mattress was very broken in and extremely uncomfortable. So much so that it was difficult to stay asleep. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night it was so uncomfortable. And the staff and manager were difficult to deal.

We chose this over staying in Banff and we were quite pleased. The only real complaint is the parking garage is quite tight for parking and quite hot. We had a 2 room, 2 bath suite on ground floor that had its own outdoor patio and BBQ. The hot tub in the main area was quite large and was quite nice when the jets were working. They had some issue with that while we were there. The resort is not really within walking distance from downtown but is on the main road which is quite busy. There is no restaurant but the attached Black dog cafe was good for breakfast. There is also a tap for natural spring and sparkling water on the 3rd floor by the ice machine

We stayed here to participate in the Canmore half-marathon/10km/5km race and we were met with amazing and incredibly friendly staff as soon as we walked through the door. Both Tim and Becca were rays of sunshine and were always very helpful should we require anything or have any questions throughout our stay. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were fantastic and very picturesque, and the rooms had full kitchens with beautiful balconies with private BBQs. The walk-in shower was huge and the room was a great place to relax in before and after our run. We also really liked the spring water that was on tap in the ice / vending machine room that had both still and sparkling water – the sparkling water was excellent as the bubbles are quite small, which is much more European and, in my opinion, a better carbonated water. The fact that it was also spring water made it great, it’s always nice to have your daughter more excited for the sparkling water than the pop machine. Highly recommend staying here, especially with such amazing and helpful staff. Thank you Tim and Becca for your wonderful spirit and help during our stay!

We stayed in Canmore based on a friend’s recommendation but found this jewel on our own. We loved it!! Spacious, clean, modern & such friendly staff. If the rates stay the same, I will definitely stay here again with the family as I preferred the quieter town of Canmore over Banff.

My husband and I stayed at Stoneridge Resort for 2 nights for a couples getaway and loved our stay. We had a full kitchen as well as our own bbq on a private balcony. There was so much space in our room and we felt right at home. The staff were very friendly and our check in was quick and informative by a nice woman. We will definitely be back!
