トラヴェルシ・デ・アーティスト(Traverse des Artistes)

We really loved our stay. We had been let down by accommodation that we had reserved elsewhere online and luckily we were able to get a room for a couple of nights at short notice here in Traverse. The room was spotlessly clean, the linen was crisp and the air conditioning was superb. The staff were absolutely lovely, they were so pleasant and always at hand if we needed anything. The location is perfect in the centre of the old town. (Tredici restaurant up the street is particularly good!). Even though it is situated in the old town, popular with tourists, our room was noticeably quiet and we had no difficulty with street noise at any time. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Can’t say enough amazing things about Traverse Des Artistes and staff. Absolutely fantastic. The accommodation is immaculately presented and in the best place to see Cannes whilst being in a quiet location in reach of everything just minutes away. David was the most incredible host and went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. Don’t look around if you want a studio apartment in Cannes, just book and you will not regret it.

The hotel is small and cosy. The rooms are equipped with a spacious bathroom, a decent sized kitchen with all necessary appliances. The A/C is well controllable and efficient. Everything you expect from a boutique hotel and more. The best feature however is the great, attentive and helpful staff. Thank you so much !! Btw there are restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel who offer typical French Breakfast from 07.00 o clock, as well as lunch and dinner at highes standards.

We decided to extend our trip in the Cote D'Azur and booked the Four BR Penthouse at the Traverse des Artistes. Alexander, the Manager, was extremely professional and courteous. He was also very helpful with recommendations for dining, shopping, parking, etc. The penthouse's bedrooms were all good sized had en suite bathrooms. The living area contained a designed kitchen with all the bells and whistles. The location of Traverse des Artistes is in le Suquet (Old Town) with restaurants and shops abound. Highly recommended.

AVOID AT ALL COST. Even though the quality of the apartments is not bad - this is purely on the surface. Once they have you booked this is when you see the truth. First the room smelt like sewer was backing up through the pipes. Second the hotel manager / owner was a scam artist. I asked them to make a booking at a restaurant which seemed innocent enough. Only to discover that the manager was charging me 65 euro per person for a menu that cost 40 euro. The 40 euro was confirmed by the owner of the restaurant. As there were 10 people in the reservation this meant I paid more than 200 euro for the pleasure of the hotel calling this local restaurant. When I challenged the owner on this he first told me that it was VAT. So either the rate of VAT in France has jumped to 60% or there was mire to the story. I questioned him again and he finally explained that this was his service charge for making the reservation. More than 200 euro for one call. I let you judge for yourself. Ultimately he explained that I just had too accept this and that next time I should call the restaurant myself. Brilliant attitude. So conclusion - Stay away unless you want to pay twice what you intend to pay. And definitely and I mean definitely NEVER ASK THEM TO MAKE A SIMPLE CALL FOR YOU.

La posizione è perfetta, centralissima, nel suquet e nonostante questo la nostra camera era molto silenziosa. In pochi passi potete raggiungere la spiaggia, il centro città e vicino c'è anche un parcheggio a pagamento davvero molto comodo. La camera era moderna e carina anche se un po'impersonale e abbastanza piccola. Vi suggeriamo, al momento della prenotazione, di spendere qualcosa in più e prendere quella un po' più spaziosa. Personale gentilissimo, professionale ma anche amichevole. Ale_&_Angy

J’ai eu l’occasion de séjourner ici et l’établissement nous a beaucoup aidé. Nous avons vu David et Jean-Francois qui nous ont très bien conseillés et dirigés vers des restaurants et de plages. La chambre était très éclairée, très propre et c’est dans une rue très calme. Nous avons réellement pu nous reposer et je remercie encore l’équipe pour ce bel accueil !

Nous avons séjourné dans un très bel appartement entièrement équipé ! La résidence est idéalement située: petite rue calme mais restaurants et bars à proximité et à seulement 5 mins à pied du palais des festivals et de la Croisette ! Merci à Alexandre pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité !
