ホテル サン マルコ(Hotel San Marco)

We loved this hotel. The desk clerks were friendly and spoke very good English. The rooms are clean. The towels and sheets are clean and fresh with no fragrance smells. The hotel is quaint and very pretty inside. It is close to the bus stops and the elevators to take you to the upper levels of the old town. The desk clerk was very helpful with directions. The breakfast is very reasonable @ $8 EU pp.

This was to be our second visit to Gubbio and the San Marko Not the most attractive building but don’t let that put you off Really good hotel,Everything was good from the Staff to the room We were welcomed by Roberto and what a star he is,nothing to much for him,and he always seemed to be around on the three days we stayed there. A five minute walk into the town,on the Saturday we were there they had a market as big I had ever seen Plenty of first class restaurants All in all a great stay,and if we ever return to Gubbio we would not stay anywhere else

The hotel is located very close to the historic part of Gubbio, so one can walk everywhere. It is very nicely decorated, the staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable and very reasonably priced. A really perfect place to enjoy wonderful Gubbio !

Cozy room in the historic center of Gubbio. Excellent check-in with extremely helpful desk clerk. He directed me to the free parking area. Room had a door onto the rooftop terrace. Bed was hard. I recommend this hotel if you get a good price.

Stayed in Gubbio a night and were fortunate to experience this hotel. Central location with a clean room and unending breakfast the next morning. (We took the B&B option). Staff were helpful at check-in in explaining (in English) the best places in this amazing town to visit. Gubbio is a MUST visit for those wanting to explore Umbria, and The San Marco is a great and affordable landing spot from which to operate. Close to a pub and sites not far. The rooms are not large, but they are clean and comfortable; just what we needed as we moved town to town for our first week of travel in Italy.

This hotel is in a perfect location, just outside the old city, just a quick walk away from everything. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean with nice, crisp linens and with a minimalistic, but historical feel to the room. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was convenient and the A/C strong. I slept like a baby! (we had a quadruple, which not hotels have!)

Buona la posizione rispetto al centro che in pochi minuti si raggiunge a piedi ...albergo vecchiotto e austero ...personale gentile sicuramente...la camera ampia ma l' ho trovata con polvere.... nel bagno vi era lo scarico della doccia che puzzava...colazione scarsa, il salame era datato...

L'hotel è in posizione centrale e comoda. Gli aspetti positivi si esauriscono qui. Camera molto agee e peraltro fredda, visto che il climatizzatore (rumoroso) è centralizzato e non si può accendere autonomamente (spento tutta la notte, si è acceso di mattina presto svegliandoci col rumore). Bagno indecente e impresentabile: angusto ai limiti del contorsionismo, seduti sul water si deve stare con le gambe rannicchiate perché non c'è spazio. La metà delle stelle attribuite sarebbero già generose, e 180 euro per una matrimoniale così sono decisamente troppi.

L'hotel è pulito e la posizione comoda perché si trova di fronte al centro storico. Siamo stati accolti bene e con gentilezza. Unica pecca la colazione. Non è abbondante e la ragazza addetta alla colazione si è rifiutata di farmi un caffè richiesto al bar dicendomi che era meglio usare la macchinetta visto che il bar faceva pochi caffè. L'ho trovato scortese visto che il giorno prima l'avevano fatto senza problemi. Direi di curare la colazione e il cliente.
