Karen was an amazing host!! She introduced me with other guests which was great to talk and listen to other travellers' experiences. The location was great too, it’s just in front of the promenade and within walking distance to the V&A waterfront area.

We enjoyed a nice stay in this cozzy and beautiful guest house, located right in front of the beach. The breakfast was very good and personally prepared. We will go back.

Really nice, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, too notch friendly service. Like a home away from home!

We were pleased our luck in booking the Dolphin Inn! The location is terrific, outside the bustle of the Waterfront yet an easy walk (less than a mile) to all its activities, shopping, dining, etc. And it's located on the tour bus route so getting around was easy - we had no need of a car. Communication with the inn was excellent. The owners arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport. The Inn is all that the reviewers say it is - warm ambience, spotlessly clean rooms comfortably furnished with everything we needed. Our room was in front downstairs, spacious with a sofa, table & chairs, kitchen-station, and an unobstracted view of the Atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed all six nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was always delicious and pleantiful. The owners are friendly, professional, and excellent hosts. Highly recommend!

I spent 10 nights with these 4 beautiful hostesses and hostess. If I'm somewhere for longer periods of time for work or relaxation, I don't like staying in an anonymous hotel. Dolphin is a perfect place to feel at home and be by yourself. The ambiance is good, the people are great, the breakfast without beans is a great start to the day, the rooms are neat and homely. Finally, the place is very conveniently located for exploring Cape Town. I'll be back but I don't know when yet. Frank

From my booking to my welcome and departure was an absolute pleasure. The accommodation is perfectly situated out of the buzz of Cape Town but close enough to all the places that you want to be. Expect a friendly welcome and comfortable stay with a great breakfast to boot.

Great location, welcome was warmer than the heatwave outside, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, step outside and you re on the promenade watching the surfers, seals and fantastic view.

We had a great stay at the waterfront! The accomodation was excellent and the hospitality of the host were very friendly! We would choose the Location and time! The breakfast was great without exeptions

I absolutely loved staying at the Dolphin. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and well-appointed, and the welcome I received from Paul, Tanya and Kari was above and beyond hospitable. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful to me and as a solo traveller I particularly appreciated that. I can see why they get so many great reviews and I will absolutely be returning. The only thing I would say is that you should take earplugs as it's close to the Green Point Lighthouse which has a piercing foghorn on nights when the visibility is low. But there's not much the team at the Dolphin can do about that!
